It's extremely hard to get in touch with someone on the phone. However they are very kind and reasonable. I've been late on my ubox and am afraid I might have lost it however I can't get a hold of anyone unless they call me.

The U box facility was supposed to have after hours access ,not only did the not they did not open until 9 am I was told there would be after hours access to drop a share load I picked up to deliver

U-Haul has problems sometimes, but my U-Box experience was flawless, especially on the Denver warehouse's end. Alexandrea and the rest of the warehouse crew were all courteous, helpful, and prompt. Literally could not ask for better staff.All in all, I got a small apartment worth of stuff (including a fragile old china/curio cabinet) from NJ to CO, safely and conveniently, for ~$1500 total. Estimates for other options ranged from $2500 to $4500.This includes having the box dropped at a house in NJ, picked up a few days later, arriving in Denver in about one week, and then making several trips to the Denver warehouse to unload. (They have multiple options for delivery but for my situation it was easiest to just go to the warehouse.)A couple suggestions if you are thinking about using a U-Box:1. If you have a tight deadline for the container to arrive, you may be playing with fire, as the transit time likely varies. I didn't have a pressing need for anything in the box (I can live without a china cabinet for an extra week), so that removed a lot of stress/uncertainty.2. When packing the box, consider that it is going to get fork-lifted multiple times. If you've seen a professional operate a fork-lift, you have a sense of the kind of acceleration your load will experience. There are tiedown points all over the inside of the box, so use them. Follow the loading instructions or ask someone who knows before you close up your box for shipping.3. Get a combination padlock for the box so that keys don't have to be shipped cross-country too.So basically if you load properly and don't have to stress about transit times, U-Box is a great option. And once it gets to the Denver warehouse it is in very good hands.

My experience with Ubox was extremely disappointing. My boxes were first off delayed, then sent to the wrong location, then when I tried to access them with my movers (after scheduling ahead of time) the facility was locked, thus having me pay my movers for 45 minutes of time wasted. When I explained the situation to Ubox they did absolutely nothing (after having to call back multiple times to check on the status of my inquiry). Overall, I would not suggest using Ubox for your future moving services as the process from start to finish was the most stressful, costly and extremely frustrating experience I have had while moving.

It was a good experience l didn't relieve that U-Haul had so many item you can use to pack with,for example they carry mattresses covers to protect you mattresses that's great and many other items to really help you in going though packing, thanks Angela N.

My move with Uhaul was a painfully miserable experience. Not only will I never use Uhaul again for ANY service, but I will go out of my way to actively advise anyone I know to avoid this company at all costs. My 2x Uboxes were not ready on the date I was guaranteed, nor were they even at the location I was told they'd be shipped to. The movers I hired through Uhaul's movinghelp.com sat outside the wrong location for 2.5 hours while I remained on hold with customer service. I spoke with 7 people in 4 states and was provided 6 different phone numbers only to get hung up on by the location manager without a resolution. Before hanging up, this location manager tried to justify this runaround by explaining, “oh, nobody ever really picks up the phones here. Everyones in the warehouse.” When I finally spoke with someone after 2.5 hours, Uhaul took no accountability for my possessions not being ready and could not explain why I was provided a different date and location. Uhaul then advised that I "cancel" the movers that were sitting outside of their location through and that they would not be compensated for their time. They advised that I hire a new moving crew to pick up my box the next day, which was FAR more expensive than the moving company I hired 2 months prior for this job. Fortunately, the moving crew I originally hired shuffled their schedule around for the following day after and were able to accommodate us despite being hung out to dry by this Uhaul location.I ended up paying them an additional $200 out of pocket for their wasted time. When my Ubox DID arrive the next day, it was bulging at the seams with the front door falling off to the point where someone tried to secure it with a piece of plastic wrap. Uhaul has declined to take any accountability nor compensate me for this experience.Services: Interstate moving
