The incident involved my deliberate credit card overpayment in anticipation of problems arising from UMB upgrade of that system. The other problem ought have been public information at the start of this typical income tax season, such being in secure message systems, newspapers (all forms) thus reducing staff time devoted to answering inquiries and causing anxiety especially among senior citizens.

The branch on Colfax & Franklin in Denver has the best employees. Helpful and knowledgeable. They will go the extra mile to fix your problem.

I enter very clean buildings that are beautifully decorated and make me smile. I am greeted by a very polite teller and sometimes by the people at the desks if they are not busy. The tellers help me patiently-sometimes I get confused, but they do not allow me to complete a transaction unless I am very clear about what I am doing. If I seem to understand and then change my mind, they show no annoyance, they just do what I need and send me on my way with a hearty, \\\"See you next time!\\\" I don't use the drive-through unless I have no choice. I prefer the personal experience with the people inside the UMB--I now use three different branches!

I am so happy I switched over to UMB Bank. The staff at both branches I use are spectacular and offered a level of service that is rarely available these days. Liliana and Emily are amazing...they remembered me and gave me support during some difficult issues that made the process so much easier for me. Also, this bank was extremely proactive when it looked like my account had been hacked by a family member. I highly recommend UMB.

The ladies were friendly, but when I brought in a post dated payroll check they made me feel like I was a criminal trying to cash in. There should never be a problem with that kind of check... It's guaranteed. If I was White... They would have never given me a problem and cashed it without any questions and most likely without asking for an ID. I really felt discriminated against, all my life I had people judge me BCUZ I'm Indian, imagine if I was black!! and for them to make me feel that way.. was not right. I wouldn't recommend this bank, especially if you are a minority.

Came in to cash a check. Was told that I couldn’t cash it in the drive thru. And then when I went in I was told my Maryam A. That I can’t use the Colorado ID app and then she proceeded to slide my phone across the counter. And I asked why not and starts slapping her hand on the counter like because we were told not to by our manager and then Becky who is 3 counters down and also helping a customer starts yelling and saying that it’s in an email and they are not about to argue with me and I told her I didn’t even ask you. And what’s your position and she states that she is the highest person in the bank right now. And informed her she could tend to her customer. I just don’t understand why Maryam is saying it’s a rule from the manager and Becky is saying it’s a policy sent out in an email to all branches. If that were case Maryam should have known being as she says she floats in between all the locations. The Colorado ID app Is a government app that I have used at banks previously. So not sure why they made this such a distasteful experience.

I went in to open an account and obtain a certified check because my primary bank is still in my old state. Because of how my automatic payments are all linked to that account I wanted to open an account for a small amount to start with and obtain a certified check so all my bills would be covered. They were immediately standoffish and impolite. The way they talked to me was almost as if they are not a service provider...? Like it's a privilege for me to give them my money or something? lol... pathetic service. What's funny is I am looking for a primary bank here, and intended this to by my choice. Thankfully cryptocurrency will make them obsolete in a few years.
