I understand USPS suffers from short staffing. but I had to buy an envelope to send my return package. There's an agent at the dropoff counter. and she said in a rude way I can't pay since there's no register on her desk. I had to wait 30 minuit to line for a regular business line. Terrible service

Always always always understaffed. Do not go here if you are in a rush because you will be in line for at least 30 mins to an hour. The staff is always nice though.

Typically, I only write reviews on really great service, but our experience at this location was so bad that I’m hoping this will get to a supervisor or someone who can assist us. Our mail has been missing for several weeks now. We know of a few important pieces that should have arrived by now, but didn’t. We went to the Montbello USPS that handles our deliveries, hoping to get clarification on what we should do next. The first person we talked to was friendly and tried to help by looking in the back and talking to our carrier, but couldn’t find anything. The second person was absolutely no help and quite rude. From the moment we started explaining the situation, they were cutting us off and telling us there’s nothing they can do in that building to help because it’s all handled at the plant. We can understand that, and started asking what people do when their mail goes missing to get some direction on where to go from here. Their response was to shrug and continue to tell us it’s all handled at the plant. I asked if there was a customer service rep at the plant who handles issues like this and the response was, “Nope.” My partner asked if there’s anyone we can talk to about this (as in is there somewhere else we should go or a number we should call) and they immediately cut him off to respond that there were no supervisors available in the building because they were all delivering mail. We didn’t necessarily need a supervisor, we were just looking for some direction on where to go next. After leaving, I easily Googled instructions for submitting a missing mail request and next steps. I wish I did this from the start, but thought I could get more immediate solutions by going in-person. Apparently not. However, I will say the staff at the Hudson St. USPS location was super friendly when we visited them initially and they’ve always been very helpful!

This is the worst location, there is no phone number to contact them, they have lost package after package, while stating it was scanned into the location. The employees are stealing. Another great example how the USPS is a joke.

Two packages going to the same place accepted the 16th. One delivered on the 19th. Other still showing accepted at post office. USPS WTH

I've been a long time consumer of the United States Postal Service but the past four to seven years have been a struggle. A lack of employees at the counter makes it hard to run and run out in a sense. The lines are extra long and the wait time has tripled up.There has to be a better way to manage this American classic service. I will always love to write letters and send post cards. It's an outlet for me to express myself on paper.The parking lot at this location tends to be packed with employees personal vehicles which leaves no space for customers.

Do not ship mail at this location! They are stealing! I shipped WRAPPED presents in a box during the holidays to my parents. When they opened it, most of the gifts were UNWRAPPED, and 4 gifts were missing aka STOLEN. Oh, great. The federal government has found another creative way to steal from its citizens by hiring THEIVES.

Had a package marked delivered but I didn’t have anyone come to the door. I submitted a request form and got phone call from the post office two days later. They were able to tell me exactly where it was misdelivered to and I was able to go ask my neighbor for the package. The staff member I spoke with was very friendly and willing to help!

In person service is ok, however they never follow up on my missing packages, they just act concerned but they don't do what they say they will do. Two times the managers and front desk people told me that they were going to speak to my delivery mail man about my missing packages, then i saw my delivery man at my cluster box and i talked to him about my packages and he confirmed that no one at the office had told him about the missing packages. Also the same thing happened a few months later that i was missing an expensive package, they were supposed to talk to the delivery person to check on the cluster boxes to see if they missplaced my packages AGAIN, but on the next day after i saw the delivery woman who was covering a shift, she told me that no one at the office had told her to look for any missing packages. Again both USPS delivery persons said that the montbello office did not tell them to look for my missing packages.IN THE LAST YEAR AND HALF I HAVE HAD OVER 12 MISSING PACKAGES. AND THE WORST OF ALL, MY KIDS PASSPORT THAT THEY MISSPLACED/LOST AND I NEVER GOT BACKREALLY?? NOW MISSING IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS!!!!!UNBELIEVABLE.And just today i checked my mail and 9 piece mail letters were missing. Empty box. Again. So not just missing packages.

Dear USPS, please improve your service, You delivered the USCIS priority mail with my green card to the wrong address, and can't find it, I have been waiting for your feedback 2wks without any result, I spent many years to get it and need it for work authorization; for now, I still need to spend another 500bucks and months to reproduce it, I can't believe what happened!

For the past three days, I have been waiting for my packages delivered to our place of business. No success. I waited every single day and nothing. On the 4th day, I waited in the hallway where our business is at and finally got an opportunity to speak with the mail deliverer. However, according to her, she did not bring the packages with her even though I scheduled a redelivery today. This is so frustrating to rely on unreliable people and an organization who doesn't seem to care.

Packages go out for delivery but never arrive. The staff here is stealing mail, and packages. They will open Birthday and Christmas cards looking for cash, Welcome to Montbello Colorado

Showed up a few minutes too late to drop off a package. They hadn't even closed the lobby doors yet. The receptionist told me they were closed with an attitude instead of being courteous. I hadn't even said a word.You will do well to remember that your job and my business are not guaranteed and that I have other avenues for shipping. The least you can do is be courteous and polite.
