This review is based on the bakery. We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday a few days before we needed it. The lady that assisted us was so kind and helpful and the cake was 1. Soo yummy and 2. Exactly as pictured/ discussed (we brought in our own decoration). I was so grateful to get something so cute and customized for $24.99. Definitely recommend the bakery at this location.

My trips to Safeway in the past few months have left me saddened and puzzled. When I first moved to this neighborhood 5 years ago, the service was great and staff pretty friendly. Now, it is like a spooky ghost town, in which staff scowl at you for having more than a few items to check out. They seem to expect customers to do 100% self checkout now. I am an average guy, who yes, will have a full cart at the grocery store, because I tend to go once a week or every week and a half for what I need. We're not in Europe, folks! We don't have cute little individual bread or cheese shops. But no, I still get dirty looks from staff there if I have more than a box of cereal and milk to check out. It is so very bizarre.I can't figure out what is going on at this location. But I suggest that management try to. If you really think you'll make any profits with customers checking out just a few miserable little items at a time in self-checkout, you will have to think again. I've never had any retail establishment be upset with me for wanting to purchase a lot of product. I've worked in retail myself! I was happy as a cashier to swipe as much product per customer at a time and as quickly as I could. Makes sense, no? This Safeway just has me frustrated and scratching my head :( It was really the most convenient location for me, but perhaps I'll have to travel a little further to Target so I can have service with a smile for a change...

This Safeway sucks. They used to have a couple great employees. The remainder currently (June-July 2021) have awful customer service skills. Also.. they're always out of stock of the free Saturday-Sunday deal.. it is currently 8:30 am mst and they are already out of these $2 paper towels that were supposed to be free. Wtf. They don't even substitute or stock up extra.

Spoke with the manager, this place only has one "express" lane open, which means literally everyone has to go there. So if you have one item you can be literally waiting 10-20 minutes. Won't ever come to this Safeway again. The manager and the other employee were talking while watching me and two others sit behind someone with 40+ items. Go to a Walmart or Target where you can at least self checkout and not be late for work. Oh, and just scroll down and you'll see this problem is far from a "morning issue"- this place just does not care about it's customers time.

Every time I'm at this location, there are only 2 lanes for checkout. There are multiple other people I see on staff. But none go to help. Tonight at least 6 people were lined up in each "express" lane, though the lady behind me easily had $200 worth of groceries. There was a gentlemen who had been at the deli counter 10 minutes with no one so he came to ask the 2 lanes of check out. The deli employee was on break. I saw the man walk out empty handed.

Usually only one non-self check open, but it tends to be not too crowded. The vegetables are fresh and the butchers are helpful.

This location needs a lot of help. Often times product selection is limited and the store isn't very clean. The first time I visited I thought that I had just arrived after a busy rush and the store staff just hadn't had a chance to re-stock and clean. Turns out it's just poorly run with staff that doesn't care. One time the employee working the cash register had such bad BO I couldn't breath. I am no longer visiting this location.

You know why King Soopers is kicking your butt? For one thing, you make people stand in line forever. There's only one lane open with tons of people. My favorite thing about King Soopers is the self checkout. It's no wonder you're losing in your business. The produce is not as good. You do have good pastries that are a good value. But even when there's next to nobody in the store, I'm always waiting. Your company is going to go out of business. That's my prediction, and I bet your CEO probably gets paid too much. I want to add that the people working here have always been very friendly. The parking lot is always easy to reckon with because there are fewer customers here. It would be my wish that the CEO would make major changes. Were I CEO, I'd dive in to some changes on day one. I love the expediency of self checkout. You can either revolutionize the way you do things or Safeway will go the way of the dodo bird. Natural Grocers is GREAT at immediately opening new registers when many people are waiting. What in the world takes so long here? I upgraded my review to three stars because I thought two was too harsh. CEO doesn't deserve the golden parachute he will likely have when Safeway goes belly up. If you make the changes to stay competitive, you'll deserve it, but as things are now, you're losing big-time, buddy. Apologies if it's a woman in charge. The exact same goes for you if you're a woman.

Just visited our neighborhood Safeway on 120th and Washington and it has really changed there were no registers open the machines were difficult to use and the prices really went up I think I'll stick to my Walmart

It just seems that this place could use a makeover. The bathrooms are beat up in my opinion and the place overall just seems run down. The staff is always helpful and friendly, but Safeway needs to put some of those bucks in upgrading this place.

I love this location but I continue to be let down by the pharmacy here. The entire pharmacy team is unfriendly and continues to disappoint me with their lack of compassion and helpfulness. Although, the rest of the store is lovely I simply wouldn't recommend this pharmacy location.

I would love to Review the food but we waited over 45 minutes and the Coke machine was out we asked if we could just get some kind a sampler or something immediately we waited too long there was nothing they could've done I would like to get this place one shot that is nice inside but this review is for that one visit alone

I'm here all the time. The staff know me by name. It's a good suburban Safeway ... good meat department, with friendly staff to help if you need special cuts. Great produce with ample organic sections. Super store brands, including Signature products. I use the store app for great savings and gas rewards.
