Summit County Landfill is a well-run and scenic facility. It offers an organized system for private vehicles to drop trash, recycling, hazardous waste, compost, and other products. The cost is low, with only $5 for a large bag of trash. Payment can be made with cash or credit card, though cash is faster. The employees provide super friendly and great customer service. The facility also includes a completely free public shooting range with multiple lanes for different firearms, free targets, ear plugs, and occasionally free gun locks. It is a great place with great prices for the area.

Huge shoutout to the staff at the Summit County Landfill! Amanda helped me today and she was so nice and patient. The guy at the checkout was awesome too. Great team working there—they really make a difference
