Love this place! The owners are amazing, the location is wonderful. I stayed in the motel. It's an older place but has an excellent vibe. The property sits next to the river and clean water storage ponds for city drinking water. You can walk the river trail from the room. Restaurants are very close and good. Great Colorado town with lots of mom and pop goodies. They also have really nice RV spots too.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We especially liked that there was a path that we could walk by the river. Bed was very comfortable. Also Montezuma Mexican restaurant was just down the road and was very good.

Righton the river is greatt! Only a few RV spots but if looking for a cabin and rv mix this works great. The desk person gave us the spot we booked for 3 days and the next day leave for a day trip. We get back to someone setup in our spot. So we took the next one which is no big deal but weird and not to mention what the couple in our spot said and their story with the desk. Overall great though and cute town.

Very nice campground along the Dolores River. Our family comfortably stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights.

Nice little old school place out right on the river. It's about a mile to get down to the brewery, but you can take the River trail some of that way and then there's sidewalks on the main road or just go one block off and it's a pretty walk. Place as well taken care of and clean. The beds need to be tightened up. They're kind of squeaky. Overall good place for the money. Nice people staying there.

If in dolores Colorado. Stay here. River access and clean comfortable cabins. Food and drinks are close by.

Room was super clean. Beds where comfortable. Carpet was clean. We were in room 10. Less than 30 seconds to walk to cute river overlook. Several chairs to relax in!
Customer Service was amazing.

Beautiful location. However the cabin A was something less to be desired. Sheets had pet hair and the tub hair we went to Walmart to buy sheets for the bed. The back area was filthy an chairs unusable. Upon talking to other guests its seems that the owners have other property that is more important an this one falls shorts of all the high reviews. Guests weeding their own area trash not picked up from prior parties no bbq tools in cabins . There is just no love shown by owners. ( yes we were refunded 1 night) but listening to excuses an what not was a huge turn off. Trust me I would have went to the office when I got the time to tell them( but they heard from their long timers first.. ) Etc... I took plenty of photos of the room an outside. As we were scouting an area to stay for a time but this falls shorts. If one want just a whatever type place then okay but if want a clean place then this is not your place to stay Location is good tho

We enjoyed the western theme with John Wayne and bears in the motel room. The space was well kept. The beds were fairly comfortable. The bathroom was pretty good. The shower was a bit tricky for the kids, and the toilet was a bit leaky. Yet overall we enjoyed our visit and had what we needed.
The river walk is fantastic! The views are amazing. We had a wonderful time walking the trail and seeing the river.
If we travel in that direction again, we will be staying here again.

The rooms aren't huge but nice place to stay and actual places to eat near by and few stores. Can walk to river. Has WiFi. And tv. The ac okay could be better.Rooms: Has coffee pot , microwave,and a mini fridge. shower and 2 beds. Beds are soft could use better pillows.Nearby activities: We walked to Mexican restaurant down the highway. Can walk to river. We are staying here and diving to Mesa Verde National Park and the 4 corners monument.

We loved staying overnight at the Outpost Motel! What a lovely spot on the Dolores River. There's a place for barbeque, a fire pit, lots of spots to hang out together right on the river. Our motel room was very cute and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating as we arrived really late and then asked for a late checkout, which was not a problem. Overall, great experience and we will definitely stay here again next time!
