An amazing store filled with so much history and talent! The owner's knowledge of the heritage behind every item is amazing. She was very kind and accommodating to our questions. Everything was made with love and made to last by the artists, absolutely beautiful!

So this place is really nice. Has a lot of great native american crafted items. The woman that owns it is a little different. I can understand her concern about the items, especially when kids are in the store, but to me, she worries too much. She has some crazy stories. While I was paying for my items, she continually was looking around the store mumbling that she hoped they didn't break something over and over.

Exquisitely made native american jewelry and many other treasurers. Donna, the owner is a docent in her own right, knowing each of the artists and so much about the many beautiful and very affordably priced items displayed. It was very special buying some native american pieces and learning the backgrounds, including a ring I bought with the caricature of "Mud Man" who watches over children in the Navajo culture. Really a special part of visiting Durango, visiting with Donna and seeing her amazing collection.

Donna the store owner she is very rude and mean (should be out of business she don't know how to deal with people or have any respect or manners ) went in to ask her if I could have a part time job there she completely disrespected me by judging my cloths and where I come from and education because I didn't have a college degree, she went on to say some trashy words to me and disrespect me, I would not recommend ANYONE to come here to shop or buy from her she is just a sad old women with no manners or potential in life. If I could give 0 stars I would, hope you read this Donna.

Lady who works there is rude and unpleasant, I recommend you take your business anywhere else in Durango!

Had a really great experience shopping here. We were referred by some friends that are locals. Donna was very helpful, helping us choose some Native American crafts. Donna is also a very interesting person and I enjoyed chatting with her. Worth a visit when you're in town.

I absolutely love this place and the owner. Bought a beautiful ring for my girlfriend for Christmas and the owner was so helpful in finding the right ring. I will definitely shop here again. She has an incredible inventory of native art and jewelry and trinkets.

The owner said, "it seems like all Navajos are artists, well only the good ones" to me about some Navajo men leaving. I walked straight out of there after she made that remark. I've never been disgusted with a Durango shop until now. Never going back.

The shop owner is extremely rude and aggressive. I would recommend avoiding this store. There are plenty of other stores in town with respectful owners that you can visit instead. I always tell my daughter, hurt people hurt people. I feel for her and hope she can find peace with whatever is causing her to be so caustic.

This is a great store with many beautiful Native American pieces at great prices, but the woman who runs the store is very rude and unprofessional with customers. She yelled at people who closed the door too hard, was very sarcastic and short with us whenever we asked questions about the merchandise or tribes who made the items. She also snapped at my husband when he tried to step over a couple of things to see paintings in the back room. It's a mystery to me how this store has not gone out of business. I felt uncomfortable in the store the whole time I was there. It didn't help seeing multiple signs on every shelf asking people not to touch the merchandise. One or two signs would have been adequate. Prices were not listed on many items so you were forced to ask the owner who seemed annoyed that you even asked. It's a shame the owner acts the way she does. The Native Americans are the ones that are hurt since she undoubtedly is driving a lot of people away who otherwise would have bought their pieces.

The store owner is awful! I was going to spend over $2,000.00 on a rug until she yelled at us for touching the rug. Her loss, I’ll never shop at her store. Can’t even believe she’s still in business.

I stopped in this store with my girlfriend to try to pick out a piece of jewelry with her for her birthday. The owner, Donna, ignored us as we entered but was happily complaining with another older, white woman while we began to shop. The customer she was speaking with left, and she ignored us until another middle-aged white woman came in. We ended up finding pieces we were interested in and stood at the counter to check-out. She noticed us and continued to ignore us. We didn’t think anything of it until my girlfriend directly asked the price of the items with the intention of buying them, and she angrily snapped with the response “look at the back” while quickly turning her back and returning to the other customer in her nicest voice possible. I am a middle aged white woman and unfortunately experienced the way my girlfriend, a middle aged Navajo woman, is treated by business owners at times. It was completely unacceptable and clear she did not have any intention of helping my girlfriend without belittling her in some way. Sharing this experience because she sells Navajo jewelry and can’t find the kindness to welcome people of all kind in her store. Thanks for reading.

This is an amazing store and the owner is fantastic. Very friendly woman who is incredibly knowledgeable about the art she sells. She has personal connections with all the artists and sells at very fair prices to both them and customer. To all the reviews about her being rude or unkind, these people were almost certainly in the wrong during the incident because I have never met a nicer person. It’s a shame that people hide behind the screen of their computer to try to hurt another’s business. I really cannot recommend this store more. You will not find a better dealer of native art than this.

Wonderful business with the most wonderful store owner. You will not find a better selection of Native American goods at more fair prices anywhere. She is extremely fair to her artists and knows them all personally. You will not find a better gallery period.
