I’ve started to come to Albertsons more often than city market for many reasons.#1There’s room to park! City market has the absolute WORST parking in Durango.#2It’s always stocked! You’ll 100% find what you’re looking for every time. Unlike city market or Walmart.#3Akami noodle bar in the parking lot is an absolute must every time I visit Albertsons.

Best parking in durango for a grocery store. Least busiest and the most cashiers working, compared to both City Markets or Walmart

Editing to add Dave on isle 3 brightened my morning. Very professional and his kindness and happiness was much needed this morning. Thank you. Clean store. Great selection. Lots of sale items.

I thought grocery stores made it a habit of having, you know, groceries in stock. Albertson's supply chain is legit awful. They are often out of large swaths of basic staples and vegetables and fruit. Maybe the managers are just trying to give us a window into what it was like to live in Durango in the 1890s. If that's the case, GREAT JOB.

I lost my credit card in the store. Initially they didn't find it, even when I went back the next day. A few hours later, manager Alonso Stewart called me to say he had it. He said he used Google to get my phone #. He is a a great helper. Thanks.

This is my go to Starbucks, yes they have one in City Market and yes we have a drive thru stand alone Starbucks . However the Baristas at this location get my drinks consistently spot on every single time. Chefs kiss ?Re: Albertsons the store itself …Their Salt and Vinegar chicken wings from the hot deli are bomb!

Great one stop shopping for out of towners to get whatever you may need during your stay. We were in Durango for a week and came here several times Open until 11P even on Sunday! Great selection of beer and wine (note to Texans you can buy alcohol in CO on Sundays). For liquor, bourbon etc and walk a few steps to Liquor World next door. Speaking of next door, Albertson's has a generous parking lot within walking distance of the Animas river trail, Double Tree hotel, Akami restaurant, several tours including the bombastic train to silverton adventure. Staff was very helpful, especially Jack who directed us it whatever we needed including kiosk with apple chargers.

Not sure what was going on with this place. We walked in to a supermarket with significantly empty shelves. Everywhere. Zero fresh bread, lacking in produce and empty shelves throughout the market. It reminded me of times when markets get hit hard before major storms or perhaps the prelude to the zombie apocalypse. But it was just a normal Thursday with no blizzard or hurricane in the forecast. We had to go elsewhere to get what we needed. Not a typical Albertsons experience.

Kinda Love the selection, compared to Albuquerque, Albertsons. If your looking for a different taste to that of the 505.

Won't go back! Some shelves were empty, selection of some items was very limited, prices were really high, restrooms were filthy/gross, prices rang up different than posted, and only self check registers were open (none were open with checkers).

Was a bit taken aback by how empty some of the shelves were, especially at the very entrance of the store. It gave the impression that the rest of the store was the same, which was not the case. There were several carts of merchandise throughout the store, which makes me think that there isn’t enough display space for all the merchandise they sell. And they also made the store look messier than other stores.

Nice and clean open store, veggie selection can be sad.My consistent feedback would be the lack of quality and quantity of veggies. They always seem to be not stocked on veggies - then I have to go to another grocery store instead of just one run. This is for the popular veggies like zucchini, Napa cabbage, and green beans - and the odd ones like horseradish root and turmeric. I ferment and can so produce quality is important, I never buy from durango Albertsons when doing either of these projects. We live in Mancos and prefer the Cortez grocery stores- the produce is consistently stocked and looks great!
