Really great service! I moved here from out of state with a rental truck and needed a crew to unload it for me. Animas Moving took the job even though it would be on a holiday. They were very prompt, handled everything with great care, and unloaded quicker than I expected. I highly recommend them!

I cannot praise Matt and Animas Moving Company highly enough for the job they did for me today! The entire experience was phenomenal, and this in a town that has a rep for being difficult to find reliable help--and a service sector that I've had more than a couple of horrific experiences with in the past, all over the country. Animas Moving was 100% pro all the way, in a field with plenty of amateurs and crooks.Despite having cell phone service issues that delayed his receipt of my initial voicemail, he called me back and we talked through my needs over the phone, got the job scheduled, and he and his assistant Chris showed up on time, worked quickly, and packed the truck and my storage unit with utmost care. I have had some pretty horrible experiences with commercial movers in the past and have set the bar accordingly, but my Animas Moving Company experience far exceeded my expectations--they simply did every aspect of this job with 100% perfection.I highly recommend Matt and Animas Moving Company, without hesitation, and Matt, thank you for helping me today.

Animas Moving Company, and Matt, the owner, just finished loading the van I rented to drive to California. They showed up at my storage unit right on time with three people instead of two and packed my things so carefully. I didn’t come prepared with straps and covers for things, as moving is not something I have a lot of experience with, and Matt gave me a strap and blanket and made everything really secure. Sometimes, many times, I feel like I hire a company for something and it just about a job and money. This is a rare place where you hire people who are both good at what they do, charge very reasonable prices, but are also thoughtful, kind, and responsive. I highly recommend d them.

I recently used Animas Moving Company for a local move and I was extremely impressed with their service. On the day of the move, the team arrived on time and got straight to work. They were fast and efficient, carefully handling all of my belongings. The team was very professional and did everything they could to ensure a smooth and stress-free move. I had to move twice this year (yeah, a headache), and hired Animas Moving Company both times. These guys are kind, efficient, and accommodating. They are careful with your things, strong, and don't let things like a giant king beds vs. tiny stairwells deter them. My corgi loves them too. I hope I don't need to hire moves for another 50 years, but if I do, I will hire Animas Moving Company every single time.

Matt & his amazing crew moved my son & I today during a February snowstorm. I can not emphasize enough what a wonderful, professional & amicable crew they were! They all gave extra attention & kid gloves care too our antiques. I have used a competitor in the Durango area in the past that can’t hold a candle to them. I give a 100% recommendation to Animas Moving!!! Thank you so very much for everything today guys ❤️

Can’t say enough great thing about this local company! Matt (owner) Austin, Kyle, and Ben are a great team! We have moved several times in the last 18months and they have done exceptional work each time. ALL of our items were transported in perfect condition with not one item damaged. They are so nice and easy to work with, even under difficult conditions! Fair prices as well…Best movers ever!!!

Matt and his team moved my husband and me from a 2nd floor apartment (stairs, no elevator) in Durango to a 2nd floor apartment (stairs again!) in Boulder 2 days before Christmas.We are delighted with the work that Matt and his team did - starting with moving large, heavy pieces of furniture without scratching walls or doors, packing their truck so that nothing was broken in transit, and ending with them carrying everything (including many heavy boxes of books and large pieces of framed art) up the stairs and placing each box and piece of furniture where we asked them to.From the first contact we had with Matt it was clear he knows what he is a professional in every sense of the wordd. My husband and I are in our 70s and live on limited income. The price we paid Animas was well below their competition and worth every penny . I highly recommend this company!

I just needed an armoire loaded into my truck and secured. Matt showed up right on time. He and his help communicated clearly. They were polite and professional. They were very careful and brought the equipment they needed to do the job right. I am very please with their work and if I need help to move anything else I will definitely call Matt. Thank You!
