As the biggest gear shop in Durango, it is a destination all its own with years of experience and impeccable customer service. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful. They are the same people seen at local ski areas and climbing gyms, so they understand the gear. They provide incredible customer service and can assist with all rental needs for adventures. The store has surprisingly competitive prices with online sellers, and its semi-annual gear sales offer outstanding deals. It is a highly recommended local company where you can find exactly what you need, from specific footwear to all things outdoor adventure.
While Backcountry Experience did not have what I was looking for, Ethan answered all of my questions with joy and without hesitation. I wish other shops in Durango would send their employees here for a customer service refresh.
