First United Methodist Thrift is a great thrift store in Durango. It is an excellent thrift store with a wide variety of items from clothing to kitchen stuff and other treasures. The store is clean, well organized, and smells good. The clothes are all in decent condition with reasonably priced thrift prices. The friendly staff is phenomenal, providing fantastic service; they are very nice, easy to talk to, and very helpful. The best part is that the store's profits stay in Durango and support numerous community organizations, making shopping there a fun and easy way to give back to the community. However, access can sometimes be difficult due to nearby street events blocking roads and affecting parking.
