We live in Cortez. We purchased a pallet of garden soil via the website. Upon arriving (after driving 45 miles with a trailer) we were told the order was cancelled even though I had the receipt. So we asked if our soil was in stock, it was. We paid for it and waited for an hour for them to find someone to load it. When they guy came out with the forklift, he couldn't put it on our trailer even though we just watched him load up at 5 other trailers. By now it's raining. He dropped our soil and left, leaving us to load 40 bags each 2 cu. ft ourselves, didn't even bother helping. Worth the time and money to go Lowe's in Farmington. Much better customer service. There was a reason for ordering a pallet.

Bought a RYOBI 40v 20" self propelled mower one year ago. The mower has been problematic from the start, intermittently failing to start and this summer rarely starting. $399. RYOBI suggests I take it or mail it to their nearest service facility in Rifle, Colorado (145 miles). Yeah, just make a quick 145 mile trip to service their defective mower. Home Depot is complicit in this mess by selling products they no longer service. Buyer beware of RYOBI mowers. The internet abounds with similar stories of poor quality and similar fails. Home Depot sucks for selling junk and not supporting their customers.

(Bad Management) recently I have had very bad luck with this Home Depot in general , from ordering bunks of wood that had obviously been tampered with (bad split dry and crooked wood in the center of the bunk, wet fresh straight wood on the outside, giving the appearance of a good bunk) to most recently purchasing a stove that was crushed on delivery that management refused to replace or even try and help with a solution. the employees were kind and joked about how bad management has gotten. manager mike dodged me across the store sending others to hear the complaint. Manager Sierra said this happens a lot (if I had a dollar for every time etc.) but insisted it was my problem and they wouldn't do anything. Their floor employees in back saw the damage and said that has been an issue verifying the order came from their store as well, all the while joking and talking under their breath about current management issues. To no avail, I will submit a formal complaint for wasting my money on defective equipment and carry my business to Farmington or Bloomfield. I would highly recommend you do the same especially if you're looking for appliances or large lumber bunks.

I am a Home Depot PRO member and regularly spend over $20,000 each year at the Durango CO store. Given I have large projects I typically buy more than I need and return the remainder. In the past I have never had issues with returns. Recently I was returning about $400 of new unused items and was told my TRE RETURNS were too high. I was not given the number to contact them even though I asked. That was only my second return in the last 2 months. What was upsetting is being berated and chastised by the store manager at the Home Depot Durango Store. I was even told to shut up by the store manager. I have been a loyal customer for 30 years and have never been treated this badly for a simple return. I called the customer care line and they did not seem to care either. After years of giving all my business to Home Depot this may be my last purchase and will buy from local hardware store.

Very disappointed in this place!!! You Would think that they would at least let you know when they don't have someone to help you, and not leave you WAITING for over 30 minutes for assistance to come cut some wire. When we checked out went to CS desk to say something and the lady informed us that no one was working in the electrical area. Boy that would have been nice to know so we didn't waste our valuable time waiting. The guy who called for help certainly dropped the ball on this. Very poor customer service ‼

Customer service does not exist at this store. I ordered kitchen cabinets back in January 2022. I am still waiting for them to complete my order. They do not return phone calls. If you order granite from them they use a company out of Albuquerque, NM. It has taken almost a month for them to be delivered. They measured on May 10th and the just got them installed today June 6, 2022. I was told it would be 7-10 days after the final approval to have them installed. This company did not return phone calls either. Any time I have needed an update on anything I have had to make the phone calls.???

We live near Chama NM, my husband unexpectedly became quite ill while shopping in your store yesterday. I am a nurse and work 2 hours away. A customer (wishI could find out who he was to thank him properly) quickly realized that my husband needed help, and summoned staff. The staff tht responded were very attentive unfortunately i was only able to find out 1 name from him, and that was Claudia.I had to drive to pick him up and we have had to now make plans to drive back to Durango CO to retrieve our other vehicle. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for your kindness and attention to him until i could get there. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!! he is doing much better today!!!

We recently had a meeting with the one cabinet "designer" in the store. Our architect did our cabinet plans and we brought them with us. The designer proceeded to ignore our drawings and when we pointed out the design was what we wanted he told us we would "do it his way" because he "knew what he was doing," the implication being, obviously, that our architect (and in turn we) didn't know what we were doing. The fact that we were the ones paying for it that didn't matter. On the way out, we spoke with the store manager who agreed that wasn't how they did things and he immediately headed toward the back of the store to the cabinet section. We won't be back. The store lost a sale that would have been five figures. Life is too short and money too hard to come by to do business with people like this.

FYI: Wanted to purchase this nice looking perennial plant but, thank goodness, I checked on whether or not it would be a good, long lasting plant since it was over $50. I googled the name of it and it said it would not be a good plant for our zone. WHY would a store in our zone carry plants that wouldn't do well in our zone? Makes no sense at all.

I agree with all the negative reviews. Thus store has the worst customer service EVER!!!!! We ordered a washer and dryer from them. The washer arrived damaged on the front but we accepted it with a $150 credit because we were desperate. We found out after they left that when I turned the dryer on, it was metal against metal and was so loud , it sounded like it would fall apart any minute! Totally unusable! Upon looking at the dryer, there was a huge dent in the back and it was never leveled. I think the delivery people knew there was a problem but left in such a hurry so they didn't have to address it. I had 12 people coming for a week the week of Memorial Day and was in desperate need for a dryer. I called the delivery company and they said it would be a week before they could get us a dryer. I called Home Depot to see if they would give us a loaner and they said they didn't do that any more. I then called and was transferred to Derrick the online sales order manager to ask if they had one in stock. I called and left messages and he never called back until the next week after we received the replacement. He wanted to know if we got our dryer ok. I gave him an earful and demanded a $200 credit for all the angst and inconvenience. He said he got that approved and would send me an email which I never received! I tried calling and Home Depot won't answer their phone!!!!! This store should suffer penalties for their lack of customer service. I don't know how they stay in business!

Possibly the absolute worst web site on the planet for such a large enterprise. 0 contact information and no way to provide feedback (if there is it's virtually impossible to find). Numerous issues. Every time I sign on I have to change my location. Stupid that it doesn't remember. I'm a Software Engineer and built Web sites for a 20 billion dollar company and even smaller company web sites retain that information. Additionally, received an email indicating an issue with payment due to my banks daily limit restriction. No link in the email on how to correct the issue or providing a link to the issue with my order status. Absolutely the most user unfriendly web site ever. Alot like your customer service. No surprise there.
