“This is an excellent spot for gift shopping. They have such a wide variety of items to shop from including specialty lotions and soaps, knick knacks, beautifully crafted candles, locally made snacks and goodies, which are all great things for a custom gift basket.”
“We love Christmas and it’s right around the corner. So one thing we do is to give our kids Christmas ornaments every year, so when they get out on their own, they have something to hang on a tree!
Stopped to get the ornaments this year! LOVED all the D&SNG Railroad items. (Got one for our tree too!)

“Stopped by while visiting Durango. This is a lovely little store featuring local artists and our purchase of an ornament went to support a kids program at a local school. There were lots of cute things and very friendly staff.”
“My wife loved this store and bought a dress only to come back the next day to buy another she liked the 1st one so much. Prices were very reasonable and the shop owner was very helpful in selecting the proper size that fit her. She had multiple compliments wearing it to dinner that night on how attractive it was. “I am sorry to hear some of the negative experiences in the reviews.
But I personally had a very positive experience here. This is a nice cozy souvenir and gift shop right next to the Durango Train Station.
It was mentioned on the door “Going out of Business - everything 50% off”. Not sure why that may be happening but everything available inside was reasonably cheap and there were a lot of options.
If you are in town looking for Souvenir and still see this outpost, you will be happy to walk in.”
“I lived in Durango for about 4 years and this was one of my two go-to smoke shops in the city. Whenever it was time to buy a new piece, Gandolf's was the place to go. All of the pieces I have ever purchased from them are well made and have only ever broken due to user error. And the store seems to pride itself on keeping quality, functional brands in store over other viral, yet dysfunctional tools on the market. The staff is also so kind and helpful, just wanting to help some like minded adults have a little fun.
If you're ever in town for vacation or you live there already and are looking for a good smoke shop, definitely check out Gandolf's.”
