Leaking roof next to table, no women’s bathroom because of separate leak in the roof. Side note: extremely burnt bacon.C’mon Jean Pierre

I have come to Jean Pierre's for years. And this particular time, I was wondering if they changed management. Previously, there had always been an amazing assortment of pastries. This particular experience puzzled me because the pastries were mostly macaroons & croissants. We stayed for breakfast and again faced disappointment. We ordered french toast and eggs benedict. The Maple syrup was not Maple syrup. It was corn syrup with coloring. And the substitutes for the expent we're limited. I had hoped that they had simple avocado on the side, nope. Anyway, you may think that I'm picky with my review. Bit the best thing about Jean Pierre's is the Ambience!

Beautiful little bakery in this gorgeous quaint town. I was intrigued by the piano music I heard while walking down the street so I popped my head in and was enamored with the entire atmosphere. A live pianist, beautiful and delicious pastries, and excellent customer service. I had already eaten breakfast so I decided to just get a couple of pastries and a few macaroons. All were delicious and at a good price. I will definitely be returning!

Give this place 11 stars if I could. If Kelli and Dither come in, give them 20% off for recommending this magical place to us when we visited!

Ok place and all, we have been here a few times. There is just some things that we had problems with. We waited for a little while before we were able to get seated. They have a pretty broad menu as well. We ordered French toast the menu said it was ok brioche bread and that it was fluffy, it was nothing near that. The service was also not the best and we waited for a while, some of the staff were just standing there as well. For the price of the food and the atmosphere you would expect a nicer experience, but it is really like any other place.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly

Visiting from Houston TX and our waiter Victor was amazing and made the experience enjoyable. All the food is hand made from scratch. We had the pleasure of taking a tour of the bakery (located in another location nearby) and saw how everything was handmade. The food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy French food, wine and ambience with live piano music playing. We will definitely be back for more.

Have been in Paris often and love Jean Pierre (which my wife frequented 30 years ago). A flavor of Paris with a Durango / Old West vibe. Delicious baked goods but also beautiful space to hang out on site. Loved the current owner was there, hard at work. Hoping for decades more snacking. Keep up the good work.

Very cute place like the atmosphere the coffee is so hot that it's burnt and I asked for sweet cream cheese croissant heated up and it's like it's cold in the center. Maybe this was yesterday pastries since I guess it was frozen before they tried to heat it up. Their menu is pretty poor this could be such a good brunch place but the menu is sub par. I guess they do more bar business at night than food. PS the menu price for French toast $21.00 plus tax and tip not worth it. Nothing worst than the waitress drops the check with the food and does not come back to the table. Tips based on service and is not mandatory!!!!!

Went in hoping for a very good croissant, it looked good BUT was as dry as toast so bummed. It lacked the buttery flavor and texture I've experienced in France this summer. At $6+ for a croissant it should equal my French experiences. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was quaint and
