“Incredible selection and very fair prices. Friendly and helpful staff. I don’t drink, but Stephen was a joy to shop with and helped me pick out a lovely bottle as a gift for my friend. Cannot recommend this store enough, 6/5 stars.”

“Trevor was absolutely the best employee and makes the yummiest baked goods! He treated my family with such kindness that we stopped twice in two days to purchase something. There are a wide selection of drinks for everyone (even for those who dont drink liquor/alcohol) and the atmosphere is absolutely great. Highly recommend if you're visiting!”
“My favorite place to buy my beer and shots after work!. Staff is great and they always seem to be in good spirits. Thank you guys for being awesome and making my trip after work so easy. Heck they even know what I want when I go in. Keep up the great work!”
“Misty is amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable and you can't help but feel welcome by her. Would go out of my way to shop there. Also, cheapest prices around.”
“The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had such knowledgeable, friendly service. They even helped carry my beverages out to my car. Great selection, great service.”
“Carries the newest and latest drinks you've probably been looking for!! New management/staff is super knowledgeable, helpful, and has an amazing attitude! Highly recommend going in, even if just to browse! You just might find your new go-to!!”
“This place is very clean with a good selection and decent prices. Staff was friendly and plenty of parking. The only suggestion would be to put a wider variety of single can craft beers other than sour or IPA.”
“What an awesome little gem of a liquor store in Durango, Colorado. They turned me onto Saint Bernard Mountain whiskey, which is my new favorite mountain sipper. Great suggestions about good local craft beers and spirits. The prices were really approachable as well. Will definitely be back!”

“The people who oversee and even work for the businesses in this village center, care about their small community on the hill of the College. If a household is not feeling well, there are supplies provided in a minute's walk or drive. It is a relief in times that require a local market or server to provide a service...and they do, in this case, provide. The faces behind the counter are familiar and welcoming...even comforting when you may need a small thing to tide you over till you can go to the larger store or restaurant. I hope they continue and grow in helping their Highland of the college - community. Well done. We feel cared for by this village center.”
“Great little liquor shop and last stop for alcohol until you get to Purgatory. Good beer selection, including all the locals like Ska. But really it’s the staff that shines, super helpful and polite.”
“Outstanding liquor store with a wide variety as well as unique stock. If they don't have it, they'll get it and quickly too. Best part of the place is Misty. Very knowledgeable, efficient and makes you feel welcome. I go out of my way to shop there.”
“It's a liquor store in the heart of Durango, and they sell liquor, as advertised. They have a surprising number of good wines in a small space, and a good beer selection. New owners are hilarious and awesome people.”
“I have always found the Mercado Corner Market a friendly and helpful place.Following the CoVid-19 pandemic, they seemed to work hard to increase their food offerings, which probably was appreciated by folks who live at Pinyon Terrace. I am not sure why a person who wanted PBR Tallboys, and cheap Vodka would elect to shop at MCM. ..The Sonoco is closer, on foot for the folks without driver's licences, and the Elmore's corner liquor store caters to all tastes. Plus, at the Sonoco, you can get your child a hot dog, or a cup of Ramen noodles...or an ice cream. As, indeed, all but alcoholic parents can do at the Family Dollar, WalMart, Mercado Corner Market, or..even...The Sonoco Gas Station.Which has lots of tacky beer. And a reasonable attempt at foodstuffs. Toilet paper, paper towels, and sodas. And can be walked to by those who are bipedal and choose not to be arrested. Again. And Again...as Habitual traffic offenders...Mercado Mkt serves both the employed, and the social serviced section. In my opinion the do a great job at doing both. If they accepted Fool Stamps, it would be helpful.I've said the same to Donna at Sonoco. One can only assume there is some reason why a Republican refuses. While living in a neighborhood with a substantial poverty level.”
“Great selection on of beer and wine. Love that the owner cares about the environment and isn’t wasteful with plastic bags. She was quick to offer a box for us to take our items away. I liked the 5% discount for cash. Loved that I could pet the cat after using sanitizer. What a beautiful and sweet cat. Owner was funny and helpful.”
“Best selection of Belgian & Trappist beers in the four corners! Also picked up an exclusive blueberry muffin wheat brewed in collaboration with Bread and Woods Boss.”
