The Black Diamond Lodge is a beautiful, newly renovated ski lodge, wedding and event venue, and bar and lounge located near Purgatory Ski Resort in Durango, Colorado. It is a quaint lodge in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, perfect for a mountain vacation, intimate wedding, family reunion, elopement, or getaway. The lodge is beautiful and not a place that cuts corners. It offers absolutely beautiful surroundings and an absolutely beautiful view, often described as an absolute dream and nothing short of incredible. It is a stunning wedding venue and a great venue for any event, family reunion, or retreat. The venue is even better and bigger in person than expected. Guests can expect to have all their needs accounted for with easy communication and check-in, intimate guest accommodations, and every amenity. These include dry/steam saunas, hot tubs, a game room, balcony views, Desert Sun coffee in the morning, and a bagel breakfast bar. The staff is friendly, competent, helpful, and the friendliest staff this side of the Rockies. The bartender is noted for being great, so much fun, very friendly and helpful, and a rockstar concierge, crafting elevated cocktails with immaculate vibes that guests love. It is the perfect place for a beautiful wedding and an amazing weekend, allowing everyone to stay and eat together for great conversations and fun.
What a beautiful place and such generous hosts! A Mother's Rest coordinated a 3 night wellness retreat here for special needs moms and family caregivers over Mother's Day weekend. Much rest and fellowship was enjoyed, thank you!
