Bought a new board for my son and it split that afternoon. Customer service was poor no warranty no exchange no attempt to make it right.

The Boarding Haus is an amazing shop in downtown Durango. It has such personality in the style of the shop with all the old boards on the wall and you can really tell the employees take a lot of pride in the work they do. If you need any maintenance done on your gear they are always ready to try and help. Whether you come to Durango to snowboard or youre looking for a skateboard in the summer, this is the place to go!

Best shop in town and by far the best prices for tuning. The owner is very knowledgeable and truly cares about the community and providing opportunities for the youth. I've bought many items from this shop based on their suggestions, and they always exceed my expectations. I've had a few unusual request for them, and they've always worked with me and helped me out. They also offer demos if you want to try a board before you buy it. They offer kids selections. Snowboards, Bikes, Skateboards, and quality gear, they have it all.

These folks are the pros! I have been snowboarding 5 years and was looking for a more advanced board than my beginner board. John and his staff were great. Their recommendations were perfect. My demo board was exactly what I was looking for. John’s help with a boot fit problem saved my trip! Excellent, experienced, professional service. This is not one of those “too cool” shops. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very approachable. I will be back when I upgrade my gear for sure!

This place is awesome. Great customer service. First came in came in contact with them during covid or right before -- they offer great prices for season rental, super friendly and helpful. We showed up there last week with my son's brand new board which was very damaged (the tip was flayed open) and John (?) -- artiste extraordinaire -- did an amazing job for a reasonable price. We drive up from Chandler Az 3 times a year to ski at Purgatory (well my son went to the dark side and snowboards) and it occurred to us to bring the broken board with us (damaged at Flagstaff). So glad we did. Thanks John what you do really is ART. ps- i tried to post pictures before and after twice but yelp was not having it. sorry -- it sure turned out beautiful though.

Best place to get anything snowboard related! Teal was super friendly and helpful! She took the time to break down every board, binding and boot option for a beginner. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Wow!! as a snowboard instructor I was super impressed with the knowledge and selection of snowboards and snowboarding gear. After searching around in shops I would say this is absolutely the best in town if you want some quality gear to rent or buy. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful!!! The stoke is high here!! They really pay attention to your concerns and needs to get you the best experience possible. Highly recommend!!
