Went in to do to get a ShopVac for an emergency flood in my bathroom. Smallest one (1 gal) started at $54. Next size up (2.5 gal) marked as $69.99. Seemed about right, even though a $14 gallon is only a $100 at Home Depot. It rang up as $120, I showed her the price tag and she said sorry it’s $120. I asked if she would honor the price they put on it and she said sorry I don’t have that power. I asked for a manager, no manager. I support local places as much as I can, but not when they treat their locals like this.

Convenient yes, selection ok, prices not the lowest; it’s snowing and NO ONE has made ANY effort to sweep any of the snow away so customers can walk in … meh

Local Family Hardware Store is convenient for those living North of Durango off the 550. They have a decent inventory of most things and pricing is competitive especially if you factor the extra time and fuel saved from driving into town. Thank you Everett and Trimble Team for running a clean and friendly neighborhood store!

Poor service and return policy. I purchased a head for my weed eater after I was convinced that it would fit my weed eater and did not function properly. They let me know I couldn’t return it because the product was already used. I would not recommend this store to anyone

The most un helpful people in Durango.There is no one in the store (usually empty) and the clerks don't have the inclination to move from the registers to show me where something is. They direct and their directions are wrong. They rather have me walk out than move their fannys to help.Surprised that they are still in business.Kroegers is just the opposite.As helpful as can be.

Great hardware store & garden center. Some niche items might not be available: for instance particular plumbing items…but a great local hardware store for homeowners & handyman.

The store is well stocked and super convenient... but the staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I've been in there several times and been the only customer. All three staff members made me feel like my very presence was an inconvenience to them. Leave every time feeling super icky...

I feel completely ripped off. I just bought a 20lb bag of ice melt Mag chloride for $19 which I thought was outrageous , but I figured they were just doing a little gouging. But, I had no idea. Next door at the grocery store I found a bag of ice melt, also mag chloride --- 50lb for $10I came very close to returning it, but I decided I would write this review instead.
