Today I tried to return an Amazon product. It was a "no box no label" return. I was refused service because they said I had to purchase a box and pay for it to be returned. Which clearly was not what was stated in my return email from Amazon. The agent was very rude and said it wasn't his problem.

If losing packages and misplacing things and not knowing what's going on was an award this place would definitely get 1st!! it's a shame. if you want your family to send you anything or friends, have them hand deliver it and it'll have better odds of getting there, honestly just attach it to a pigeon and the odds are still better. if I had a choice I'd never use this place but unfortunately it's what I'm stuck with.

I refuse to enter, let alone use this business ever again. The owner/manager has no people skills or customer service skills. Last experience I waited in a line that reached the door and not once did she acknowledge anyone or express gratitude for patience. You only existed if standing in front of her. Never smiles and has the classic RBF on maximum. She has never been helpful and treats customers as if we are an inconvenience. I once needed a single stamp and the clerk told me they cost .90 cents. I asked owner/manager who was standing nearby ".90 cents for one stamp? Is that the current USPS price? She replied "Yes ma'am." I later found out the current USPS at the time was .60 cents. So not only did she straight up lie to me, but she is guilty of price gouging. I will happily drive to Farmington before ever doing business with this pathetic excuse of a service company.

Agree with the reviews that the manager, Melissa, has poor customer service skills. We travel throughout the country and go to UPS stores everywhere we go. Today we had many Amazon returns that we didn't realize needed a box. Usually there are boxes in the trash at UPS stores but there weren't any here. Melissa didn't offer ONE solution for us to get boxes. I mean this is a shipping store right? I went outside and dumpster dived to get some boxes. She then stated that they each needed to be taped. When I asked if we could use her tape she said she wasn't going to help us tape up twenty of our boxes. Over dramatize a tad- we had about 8-10. I then replied back "oh no worries, I can tape it myself just asking if we could use some strips of your tape?She said no. Ok ok- She saw we were already stressed but it's like she wanted to add fuel to the fire. I found a tape dispenser that had been used by the sellable packing tape. I asked if we could use it since it's just sitting there aimlessly. She said no. She didn't even now it was there bc the store is a pigsty! But ok. I let her know that it's up to the store's discretion if tape had to be purchased or not and I've only been to one nationwide that also said it had to be purchased and as good customer service it would be nice for her to help us out in a time of obvious need. She said she did provide customer service by helping us with scanning our boxes. I'm like what in the heck?! That's YOUR job! That's what you get paid to do AND your the manager. Good grief. Hard to come by good workers now a days. This experience was just lousy. No customer service at all- but what else do we expect as customers in 2022?! Ugh. She'll most likely write a rebuttal to this review w some kind of justification or sass like she did for the other poor reviews but a 2.5 review shows the reviewers that it's legit a poor store. Literally poor in customer service and overall just Cheap. And as I said: justification below. My issue was not the Amazon confusion it's the lack of customer service. And I'm not talking about the packages- after all you are a packaging center. That's pretty obvious. Im talking about the lack of pride- the dust, unorganized chaos, and package crumbles all over the floor. With the money that you have from not providing tape to your customers a vacuum and a dust buster may be a good investment. Again, this is about your unkindness, your spirit of getting under ppl's skin. It's as if you enjoy it. When I shared I was going to write a review so that customers knew to bring their own tape, etc. you literally smirked and said here's how you can write a review and gave us a piece of paper to corporate or something. It's demonic how you were acting. You saw we were in feature as yet you delighted in making our day worse. Just awful to see since it is "your livelihood".

We use this UPS Store all the time to send packages, return Amazon things and send certified mail. Melissa and her crew are phenomenal! Helpful, patient, efficient and knowledgeable. We so appreciate their excellent service! Melissa and Ian in Durango

By far the WORST customer service on the planet. If you like people being short, rude, and EXTREMELY unhelpful, this would be the place to go. One of my small packages needed a little tape and the lady behind the counter said; "we can't take your items when they're falling out and not packaged." My item was packaged with one corner needing extra tape. I asked if they could tape it for me, she made up some BS excuse and said I could purchase [over priced] tape and tape it myself. When I confronted them about not being helpful, the lady behind the counter yelled "excuse me" and went off on me in front of a store full of people. It was the worst experience I've ever had in any customer service situation. I left in tears as the lady behind the counter was so nasty. I have tried to get my box shipped 4 different times now [I do not live close to this location at all] and have been told my package has been boxed incorrectly every time. Don't waste your time or money here.

I felt very uncomfortable waiting with too many people in a tiny store (we are in a pandemic). Then I finally got my box to the counter and they advised me it needed tape. I said I was bringing the box as a favor for my 95 year old neighbor who hadn't taped it. The owner then said loudly that it didn't matter if I was doing a favor for a 95 year old neighbor. The box needed tape. I had to buy $6 tape to tape the top. I would not have been bent out of shape if they had not been so rude. I won't shop there again, especially during the pandemic

The worst most arrogant customer service we have ever encountered. These automatons have been trained well to not insure boxes that don't have the box rating visible on the outside of the box. They will strictly enforce it despite how well the box is packaged. You can even buy a box from them to remedy the issue and they won't even share with you this sacred knowledge of what it is they look for in order to assure that the package will make it to its destination. It doesn't matter who is working the counter as they are most unhelpful in every respect. They would much rather see you angry that they get to exercise dominion over you and your parcel rather than being helpful. I cannot say enough negative things about the store as they have been a pain in our ass for years. I would say that the management needs to better train their staff, but their staff doesn't give a damn. If they did they would be giving of their knowledge of how to best ship a package rather than just acting like a bunch of knuckle heads. And let me nip this in the bud by asserting that no UPS employees were harmed in the making of this experience. Despite being upset by the severe lack of information and impolite service by UPS employees, no insults, cursing, or physical harm was directed to anyone involved employed or proximate to the interactions. So, if you see a "manager" doing damage control by insisting we were to blame for their poor behavior, let it be known that to not be the case. EDIT: you can see the damage control by management below. The employee in question today did not offer help, nor did the employees the day before. They were blunt and not forthcoming with any solutions. So, if the claim is that they didn't get the chance to resolve the issue before leaving, yet in two attempts over as many days the employees could help resolve the issue but was not forthcoming with any attempt to do so, claiming that the employees didn't get a chance to resolve the issue before leaving the store is moot point. Also, the gender of this account picture is irrelevant to the lackluster and deflecting non-ownership of the customer service in question.

I have never had a worse experience with any customer service employee in my life; until I came to this UPS store. The curly haired woman that everyone talks about in the reviews, is even worse then they have talked about. The ups employee literally made the woman behind me cry because she was so rude to her about coming in with a huge package too close to closing, which I might add was after she yelled at me because I came to close to closing with 3 large packages that I willing offered to move around the store so she didn't have to. In addition my boxes were not the "right type of boxes" and she made sure to threaten me that they WOULD (NOT COULD) get damaged in the shipping process and they wouldn't be covered by UPS. For reference I have attached a picture of the boxes I used to ship so you can see these were clearly made for shipping. Better believe I will be calling UPS Corporate to file an official complaint. I'll keep you posted. Also I never thought I would say this but there is a FedEx shipping center not that much further away from this UPS store, that I would recommend going to for your shipping needs. Here's the address: 1155 Dominguez Dr Durango, CO 81303 United States **Update 10/15/20: the store has tried to respond to my review by telling me the same boxes I used to ship and the ones in the picture were not the same and that the ones I shipped with were not shipping rated. Clearly the picture is to show the box material I used which clearly states it's for shipping use not just a moving box. Sounds like a CYA. Shame on you for not taking ownership of your flaws UPS store.

Linda, the owner, is the most personable, positive, kind person you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. She remembers people by name, even through a COVID mask. She takes such care of packages and always looks out for everyone's expenses. Her kindness and personality actually remind me of home. I can't recommend her business enough.

Believe what you read in these reviews. The curly headed woman "managing" the store knows nothing about kindness or helpfulness. Instead, I think she gets a kick out of seeing other people suffer. I could go on and on here but she's not worth anymore of my tile. Neither is this store. Go to The Mail Room in town. They do it all right and the people there are nice! Wow. What a concept!! UPDATE** I did not throw anything at your worker. Sorry you guys lie. 16+ bad reviews complaining about the woman working there can't be wrong and all your replies blame the customer. Good luck to you all.

Just returned two Amazon items. The owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. She made sure my return QR code covered both items. As to the previous reviewer who wanted a receipt, within seconds of scanning the my QR code, the Amazon app showed the return was made and refunded. No need for more paper.

HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT USE I left my glasses at a Durango hotel. I called and the glasses were picked up the same day. However, they HELD my glasses for 3 days , because she was "short staffed". I was charged $75 to have them delivered 5 DAYS AFTER they were picked up. she " overnighted" them 3 days late and still charged for next day!!!
