“We had a great experience at Kindness Animal Hospital, we had to take our dog in while were visiting family over thanksgiving. We had called 3 different animal hospitals for on call services in the areas and no on answered or called by expect Kindness. My dog had been having GI issues for 3 months and our vet back home was taking a conservative approach to treating the issues. Unfortunately the issues escalated during thanksgiving week and since we weren't going to be home for a week, we called Kindness and they were able to get us in during after hours. They understand that the conservative treatments weren't working and recommended some stronger medicines. Our dog was feeling better same day and symptoms have not come back since.”

“We were visiting Cortez from out of state when our dog developed Bloat in the middle of the night. Durango Animal Hospital was the only vet who answered their phone and Dr. Johnson met us at 2:00 am. She performed surgery on our girl and saved her life. It was a terrifying situation, and Dr. Johnson was great at providing important info and keeping us updated, and was so caring and compassionate. She and her staff called us several times post surgery and release to check up on our dog and made sure we had what we needed to safely make the trip home. I’m forever grateful for Durango Animal Hospital and Dr. Heather Johnson! ❤️”
“Over the last 3 years, we've seen all 3 vets for our dogs and cat. Each vet has been exceptional taking the time to make our nervous pets feel comfortable-even getting on the floor with our small dog! Each vet has been attentive to our concerns about our pets, and answers all questions to our satisfaction. Care advised (i.e. tooth cleaning, blood work) has been warranted and prices are reasonable. The staff is also helpful, giving me pointers on nail trimming, etc. It's obvious that all in the office care about providing competent and caring health care. I strongly recommend Alpine for your pet's needs.”
