I broke my nail the first day of vacation and walked into VIP Nails and asked if they could redo it for me.The man whom I assume was the manager rudely told me no, they couldn't match it. I explained I was fine with a contrasting color. He then told me they didn't have time, so I turned to leave. Then he told me to wait and started speaking Vietnamese to an employee. I said I would just go elsewhere and I did. The people at Luxury Nails in the shopping center next to Walmart were very accommodating. They went above and beyond and matched the color almost perfectly!

First time at VIP nails. I usually do my own, but I had no motivation before I went on vacation. I've heard mostly positive feedback and wanted to give it a shot. I generally don't have a gentlemen perform my services, but I was greeted by Tiger. There was very little conversation at first, but we both opened up to each other. We had a lot in common and he asked me if I wanted to try a new product. it was an organic gel-like substance that you have to have extreme patience to build with. He did it with no sweat and said he was turning a lot of clients onto it. It's very natural and lightweight. He spent two hours on my mani and pedi and was blown away. He offered suggestions on what would look the best and I completely trusted him. He was so kind and gentle. By the end we were cracking jokes and felt VERY taken care of. I will say I wouldn't normally spend this much on a service, but he was worth it! The foot massage alone was the longest and BEST I've ever had! After 2 weeks, (photo attached), both my nails and toes still look PHENOMINAL! I wasn't considering going back due to the fact that I can do them myself, but Tiger is definitely worth it! If you want an amazing experience and don't mind spending some money, I would highly recommend booking with him! I've been going to salons and doing nails myself for years and I can say in confidence this was hands down the best I've ever had! He's generally booked to the gills and was very fortunate to get in with him! Make sure to call and book with Tiger well enough in advance! I'll be back!

Great experience. You do need make an appointment at least a week or two ahead of time to ensure you can be seen. Tiger did an amazing job on my builder gel nails and pedicure. I wish I was a gatekeep girly because I know this is going to make him even harder to get into. But he was awesome, professional, creative and did an amazing job in my shorter ombré nails. So glad they have builder gel here and I will be back.

I recently had my wedding nails done there and the whole team at VIP helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and were willing to go above and beyond (completely restarting my nails) to help me find the perfect wedding nails. Highly recommend for all your nail needs!

A woman barked orders at me right when I walked in the door while doing someone else's nails. Very rude and abrupt. When I was seated for my pedicure, the man didn't communicate with me at all. He did not do a thorough job scrubbing or taking off the calluses, which is why I get a pedicure. He put the polish on much too fast and didn't allow it to dry before slopping more on. It was goopy and had streaks in it. It ran and dripped. Then for some reason he tried to shove my foot into my sandals before the polish had dried and he totally botched the paint on three of the toes and did absolutely nothing about it. I'm only giving three stars because the price wasn't bad at $33 for a 45 minute pedicure. Definitely get what you pay for here though. The guy next to me was named Tony and appeared to be doing a much better job.

Went for a manicure and pedicure and the gentleman rushed and did a horrible job with color. It turned out uneven and streaky and I mentioned it and he redid it but still looked bad. I never get my nails done but I did for my sibs wedding and it was not a good experience. I won’t be coming back.

Paige and her husband Ethan run VIP Nail Salon like clockwork! The salon is beautifully designed, incredibly clean and well maintained & always pretty busy.
The entire staff, I believe there are 10 men & women, are extremely friendly, professional and amazing with their clients. There are many different types of manicures and pedicures, outstanding polish colors,their pricing is great and I find my time there extremely relaxing.
I get my Deluxe Gel Pedicure along with my Gel Manicure every 3 weeks so I can enjoy the outstanding massage chair, while listening to the calming music for the Pedi.
I have been to many Nail Salons in Durango and by far VIP is the best! Make sure to make appointments in advance to get the day and time you want.

I’m seeing several reviews about my guy Tiger… and while I selfishly want him available, I just HAD to share how awesome he is. He does a such fantastic job. He’s a perfectionist and holds himself to a high standard. I literally never leave feeling regretful for spending all this money on nails I don’t love (we all know that feeling). He’s a super fun guy and fun to chat with! Go hang with Tiger and treat yourself to some GORGEOUS nails - just don’t book up all the way full ;)
