The Painted Pixel, in particular Kristen, was fantastic to work with when it came to getting some Etsy prints printed. I wasn't quite sure what all they might need and trusted her judgement when it came to printing ratios as well as paper type. I highly recommend them for any speciality printing needs!

I called painted pixel to inquire about getting an image printed. I worked with Kristen and she was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me through the process and when I went in to pick up the print, we had a great conversation about the shop and some of the work she and other artists do. Excellent experience through and through! Highly recommend.

These people had my original honest review removed and then lied in their response to my second review left. I'll be posting my original review WITH PHOTOS to yelp. They NEVER acknowledged the poor quality work that was done for one of the digitizations. When I brought it up to them multiple times that the final image they produced was blotchy and only loosely resembled the original, they gaslit me. When they finally offered a refund days after the fact it included them telling me I was no longer welcome in their business. I'm literally shaking right now. I've never in my life ever had a business behave so unprofessionally towards me before. They also have in fact had the other negative reviews from other people removed. I'll die on this hill.

they deleted my original google review and lied in their response to my second, which prompted my third attempt at leaving an honest google review. it shouldnt be this difficult to leave honest feedback to other people about my experience here. what happened in a nutshell. i used to frequent this business and never had an issue until this image. brought some stuff in to have scanned. they did the digitization then sent the files over a dropbox link in my email. i noticed the blue woman didnt match and i was worried something happened to damage my original. (my art is something that i view to be as a part of me so it REALLY hurt thinking they damaged it) you can see their digitization vs my original in the attached files. so they call and assure me the original is safe. im like "ok, cool, sorry i panicked" then i get to their business to pickup the prints and i see my original was safe. i breathe a sigh of releif and let them know that because the digitization of the one image didnt match. then they gaslit me saying they were exactly the same. they werent, the gradients were weird in the digitization. i explained this to them and asked them if it would be ok for me to not pay for the final that didnt match. then they told me they still want to be paid for their work..... ok but.... i want to be paid for my work too and i dont want to lose money because they messed up on the 1. anyways, i took their denial and hard refusal for a refund as an answer. BUT GUYS im literally still stuing because they gaslit me and treated me badly and wasted my time and money! THEN they get my original review deleted. so i posted a second review and they LIED in their response to it!!!! so im laying it all out on the table here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! their first LIE - "One of them we came to find out after you left did not meet your expectations." //i told you guys multiple times they didnt match! THEIR SECOND lie- "One of our team members spoke to you on the phone and offered to make edits to the file to give you the results you were hoping for." //they didnt offer to redo the image. simply told me that its the exact same. THIRD LIE- "You refused to give us the opportunity to edit your file to your liking." // you didnt offer! how hard is it to not gaslight your customers and to not lie????????? // i left them a voicemail today letting them know they wouldnt get away with treating people badly and lying. //edit to say, they didnt offer a refund until after my first google review and email!!

It seems this business somehow curates their Google reviews. Buyer beware. Myself and other reviewers have had negative experiences with this business. So negative in fact that I've checked to see what their reviews are like now after them burning me over a year ago.They will charge you for digitization regardless of if the final image they produce is identical to the original or not!

They did a great job on my scan - met a rush deadline without an extra charge, and got all the details right. Folks on the phone and at the storefront were all cool and helpful. Best rate for art scans in town as far as I know.

I'm really glad I found the Painted Pixel. They are able to do high definition reproductions of my artwork and I've gotten excellent feedback from my clients regarding the quality of the prints. The communication I receive from them is always timely and thorough, even when I have very specific adjustments to make. They are a huge asset to my small business.

I had a disappointing experience with this shop. I had been working with them to figure out products and pricing for a new art website I've been building. One week ago, I placed an initial order for several prints in different sizes and on different media to see before the site launch. 7 days later, they emailed me back this morning stating they would not be able to fulfill my order due to "internal issues." My website launches tomorrow and now I am scrambling to find another local print shop and changing all my products/pricing on the site before I launch tomorrow. Very bad timing, and very unfortunate. I was hopeful about being able to use a trusted, local business to help with my website. I hope that my experience was an anomaly and that others have less disappointing interactions with them.

They printed a huge piece for us (about 4’x6’) quality and turnaround was better than anything I have found online or at other local shops. Their service was amazing and they offer the best value going. I highly recommend and will be back for all my future projects.
