About CDOT Edwards Rest Area
CDOT Edwards Rest Area is a spacious and clean stop located conveniently off I70, ideal for big rigs and long trailers. Closed from November 1 to April 1, it offers ample parking and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors can enjoy large green areas for walking dogs, picnic tables with shade, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and evergreen woods. There is a two-spot RV dump station, though it may be closed at times. Guests appreciate the cute prairie dogs nearby, making it a pleasant resting spot before continuing their journey.

My favorite rest area when I travel to Denver because it's just a couple hours away from the city

Easy for our big rig motor home and long trailer to get in and out of, not far off of I70. So people know, it is closed Nov 1- April 1st.

Good rest stop, clean restrooms.
Very large green area for walking dogs. Picnic tables and shade areas.
Make sure to look up and find the jeep on top of the rocks.
