About CDOT Edwards Rest Area
CDOT Edwards Rest Area is a spacious and clean stop located conveniently off I70, ideal for big rigs and long trailers. Closed from November 1 to April 1, it offers ample parking and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors can enjoy large green areas for walking dogs, picnic tables with shade, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and evergreen woods. There is a two-spot RV dump station, though it may be closed at times. Guests appreciate the cute prairie dogs nearby, making it a pleasant resting spot before continuing their journey.

Good dump station for RVs. Has both potable and non potable water. Dump station closed Oct 1 to April 1.

We went to use the free dump station for our travel trailer. Sounded to follow the arrow for cars, not the trucks and trailers arrow. There is a smaller dump station sign below the cars arrow. Easy on and off I-70.
