Horrible experience paid $6,907 to get my transmission fixed in my Buick and had to take it back three times. Still not fixed. Don't want to give the particulars on it, I just want people to know. Don't ever take your car to Lee's aamco transmission in Denver, Colorado. It's the only aamco transmission in Denver. But it's not the only aamco transmission in the surrounding metropolitan area. If you want to know what happened you can ask me and I will let you know. I'm just saying they couldn't fix it the first time they couldn't fix us the second time and they couldn't fix it the third time. If I'm taking it back there a fourth time, I must be the stupidest person in the world. I'm going to take it to Littleton aamco because it has a 18-month 18,000 mile warranty on it, and all that happened with me putting less than 100 mi on it. And that's probably an overestimation on the mileage that I had on it. I just know it still isn't fixed and there's no way in hell I'm taking her back to Lee's transmission. You better heed what I'm saying. I'm an old school mechanic and I know about automatic transmissions. If I was physically able to still do it myself I would have just done it myself, I don't ever have anybody work on my cars but now that I have had to have an operation on my neck and my spinal cord, I can't do stuff like that. Never never again. Will I take my car to somebody else to fix if I can possibly fix it at all?

Paid $1900 for nothing. They quoted me $5k to fix my transmission, which I’m not spending on a car with 200k miles. I asked if I could bring in a junkyard transmission to save money, but they said no. The cheapest they could offer was $3k, still too much for an old beater. I ended up having them do nothing but put it back together, and now I’m out $1900. I wish I’d gone back to Cottman—they let you bring in your own parts, and they’ll install them.

2012 ford f150 k ow lead frame issue. My trusted mechanic quoted me 2.5 -4 k I thought it was a little steep, called AAMCO on s. Broadway. The proprietor knew of the problem and only replaced the faulty part for less than 1k. 2 days under repair now I have 3 days abusing the transmission, no change in shift points no loss is power and best yet my 6R80 shifts smooth as butter

Took my car in to get the transmission checked. Took them a week to get back to tell me what the problem was and how much it would cost. They don't give updates and rarely answer the phone. It's been 3 weeks since I left my car with them. I called them 7 times until someone finally picked up. He said my car is ready. I asked him how long it's been ready for. He said he didn't know. The poor communication is a huge issue because I don't have a way of knowing how long to rent a car for which cost me lots of extra money.TLDR: Horrible communication. Rarely answer the phone.

I have been waiting to be contacted by anyone from this establishment. I brought in my 05 Pontiac Grand Prix, after a few weeks and more than 5k later I got it back. I drove it and my steering wheel is not aligned, I’m missing an engine cover, the car stalled while driving it. I had been trying to contact them, but have had no luck.

They did correctly diagnose and repair my vehicle. But communication through the 9 day process was lacking. The price at pickup was $600 higher than quoted on the phone. They did correct the price issue after I pointed it out.

This AMMCO Location, more specifically Chris, is absolutely AMAZING! I have had ongoing issues with my car since the day I bought it and Chris was such a breath of fresh air to the auto world! He was very communicative (and truthful) about timelines and price estimates, and was understanding and patient with all my questions! They went beyond expectations to make sure everything was working correctly before giving my car back!Highly recommend this shop!

5 days before heading out on a honeymoon transfer case started singing. I dont know how many team members came together but they were ordering parts and getting them installed in record time. Cant thank this whole group of techs, mechanics, and front desk enough.
