We went to pick up our couch from the warehouse. They only had 1 truck to rent so we were just SOL. The clerk that was helping us whas so rude. She basically brushed us off. She not only was short with us but also treated us like we were children. Then we decided to get it delivered and she said an original 80$ delivery became 120$. It came down to "taxes are different there".... 50% increase? Insane. I love the AFW in Aurora but the staff at this location is laughable.

We bought our 5 piece sectional couch for 2k outright. When we received the couch the cushions were thrown all around the truck with nothing to protect them, so our first issues is that they are now dirty. This is fine I bought a shampooer knowing the couch will get dirty. My main issues is when it was delivered the pieces didn't fit so the 3 delivery men had to use a drill to remove all the parts and re install them to make the couch stick together. All but one sectional couldn't be placed in. I said no worries we are moving tonight to the floor below us. We move the couch to the new apartment downstairs and there is missing pieces! So you can't drill them back in nor put the couch back together because the threads are defected! I contact customer service on the 4th day and they said they would do the exchange, the drivers get here start talking shit in Spanish saying it was us that ruined the furniture from moving it one floor to another. So I stopped him there and said I speak Spanish and it's not our fault. Then he goes to say your furniture has a defect and that's not our fault because the previous driver should've wrote it on his notes and inspected it and he did not so we are denying your exchange! Make up your mind, so is it our failt or is a defect. Customer service did not want to speak to us and the driver refused to give me customer services number and said go look at your receipt. So let's say it is our fault, you're telling me that the couch can't be moved around or the pieces will break? And you can never assemble your couch again? Cmon it doesn't make sense.... All my furniture is from you guys... I will be disputing the charge since you guys refused to send a technician out and to do an exchange when the furniture hasn't been owned for even a week. I'm beyond frustrated and upset. It's not about the money, it's about being comfortable in your home where your family can sit down and enjoy time together. I never leave bad reviews but this will be my first ever. How dare you come into my home and disrespect me in another language because you think Im white and won't understand you? that's just sad and bad service overall.

I would love to give you guys an additional star. But that's gonna cost $5.99. And when you do pay it's not gonna go through. Cus that's what's yall did to me. I'm more than frustrated how unprofessional you lady's and gentlemen are. So here's a scoop of the original story of what happened and how you guys truly screwed me over. I wanted to buy a couch bed. It was selling for $614 with tax. So I decided to pay layaway first subtracting $114. I went to a different location and some lady was at the front desk. I had company with me so that's proof that this actually happened and it wasn't just me being crazy. I said that since it's on a weekday and that's my only day I have off. I want to pay the additional delivery fee which is $80. She seemed OK with that, so I paid the All the entire bill because I didn't want to do pick up. I also clarified that. Today is Tuesday, I decided to confirm and call you guys to see when you bring it; if you were going to call, text, or email me. In return, I was told not only did you not make a ticket for the payment to go through or instead of it being Leighway it was all getting paid paid off. She also. Didn't add the additional delivering fee. So I was denied no service. No delivery. Apparently from what three people have told me what she should've done in the situation like that. Was make ticket. Then I was gonna be shipped to my house. None of that happened and now I'm getting a refund what the heck guys and not professional. Am I total 600 better come back to my account because I sacrifice groceries and clothes just for that just for me to find out that none of it was even fa ticket

Do not buy here!! If you have any issues with youre purchase you are at theyre mercy!! Tech has serious bad attitude. Showed up refused to remove shoes so they called apologized rescheduled and said tech would have shoe covers. I wasted another day off same guy same crap attitude I ssid you bring booty's he said nope youre responsible to have them worst service ever!! Tim

***UPDATE- I submitted a warranty claim (as requested below) on Jan 17th, sent a followup up email on Jan 23rd, and have STILL not received any response whatsoever as of Jan 30th despite a 48hr-72hr response time guarantee. More disappointment from this company!*** BUYER BEWARE- this business does not care about you! My wife and I purchased a mattress for $815 from AFW on clearance. The salesperson assured me that it was a fine mattress, and was just discounted because it was last year's model. My wife and I were elated! After having the mattress delivered, we noticed that the top of the mattress was saggy. We hadn't noticed this while in the store. I called the store within a week and was offered no assistance- simply that "you bought it on clearance, final sale, no returns." We NEVER would have bought the mattress if we'd known it was defective! 6 months later, the top half of the mattress is completely collapsed and causing us both considerable pain and discomfort every night. I've tried calling again to see if a manager can help, but no such luck. We are, again, needing to spend $1000 on a new mattress for the second time in under a year. Why would American Furniture Warehouse have a damaged item on the warehouse floor? Why wouldn't they disclose it to a customer? Why do they refuse to make it right? They do not care about you- AFW just wants to dump their defective inventory on anyone unlucky enough to walk through their doors. Buyer beware.

Items showed up in a timely manner.The first couch we picked wouldn’t fit thru the door and up the stairs. They understood and waived the restocking fee. We picked a new one and it fit fine. The men were very professional and did a good job not scuffing the walls. The table was damaged so the order a new one and they delivered it. Very happy with the furniture we got. Wanna thank the two patient salesmen that worked with us as well as the movers for coming out in -10 degrees to re deliver our table??

Needed some office furniture after moving to a new place in Parker. AFW had everything I needed and assembled before delivery. Such an easy process. Will continue to purchase from them. Now to decorate the office like I want. ?

We received beautiful new furniture, in an extremely timely manner. The delivery drivers were early and they were awesome. They were careful, quick and efficient and very friendly.

I purchased a sofa 16 months ago and it is completely broken. AFW refuses to take any responsibility for the product they sold because it is 4 months out of their 1-year warranty. Since the springs broke through the bottom of the couch, I inspected the inner workings and can only say it is pure garbage and I will never shop at AFW again.

Great job as always! Ordered this furniture on Wednesday night 9 PM and it was delivered as promised by 3 PM Less than 48 hours later. I can’t say enough about the delivery team and Sales Advisor they were fast, efficient, professional, and courteous! Thank you American furniture warehouse!

We took advantage of AFW’s extended Black Friday event and YAY we finally found a sideboard we liked that met our budget. We’ve been searching for over a year. Just keep in mind, they stagger furniture all over now, pieces aren’t easy to find based on departments. We had to walk thru the whole warehouse, but it was worth it (plenty of places to sit and rest lol!). Employees were friendly but NO ONE helped with our search. DELIVERY: Guys were really nice, professional and friendly! They waited patiently while I looked the console over.

Overall great experience and communication. Delivery was right on time. The delivery folks were courteous, efficient and quick. They set everything up, answered all questions and went above and beyond. The sales people were great too.There were a few items on back order, but we knew that from the start. And they have been communicating along the way. Great products, great prices, great service.

Everything was great with the delivery and set up. The guys were really good… My complaint… My couch smells like cigarette smoke, and it wasn’t from the guys I could tell that they were not smoking wherever this thing is out in the warehouse, somebody was smoking their brains out. If I can’t get the smell out of it, I’ll be returning it.
