BEWARE!!!! They will quote you over the phone and tell you they "overestimate" what will be done so that you the customer will not get any surprises or additional fees. This is completely false they overcharges us $500 and tried to tell us it was because it went over the proposal time and we are "only paying hourly for what they did" which the proposal was for 8 hours they took 7 hours and there was a lunch break of an hour in there.... fyi you apparently pay them for their lunch break. When I called to question it, she told me I should have spoke up at the time... I told her the total was in line, but they charged me prior the 500 dollars for a deposit. Ridiculous way to do business. Now I am left waiting for them to "check GPS" and cameras.

Eddie and his crew moved us from Monument to Westcliffe CO. We have some big furniture pieces and heavy gym equipment with stairwells on both ends of the move. Eddie’s team moved it all with no damage on either end, laughing and joking all the way. A tough job done professionally and cheerfully. I would use this crew again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!!

When they came and gave me the estimate on my move they were very nice and professional, when they came to do my move there were six movers and only one of them spoke English. I moved to the west slope and this took two days. They showed up at my new house and broke the front gate by backing their truck into it and didn't tell me, then they were unloading boxes by tossing them from the truck to the ground and dropping every other one and rolling with laughter when one fell to the ground. When I expressed irritation about this they acted like I was such a party pooper for stopping the fun. Now, four months later I am still getting settled and finding a lot of broken belongings in them. For the price they charge, there is no way I would hire them again.

My wife and I had Alfred and Jimmy helping us with our move. These guys were very professional and fast. They saran wrapped anything breakable and put sheets over corners and walls that could be damaged during the move. They also took furniture apart and put it back together for us. Nothing was broken and these guys did a great job. Friendly as well. Highly recommend Christian Brothers Moving & Storage.

We had the pleasure of using Christian Brothers about six months ago for our move up to the mountains. We were extremely impressed by their efficiency and hard worth ethic! Despite moving three hours away and having our property split into two different delivery locations, they still managed to get everything done in 14 hours. The movers did a great job wrapping our furniture and packing the moving truck as efficiently as possible. We knew we got great service from them at the time, but when we used a different moving company a couple months later it felt even more evident how great of a deal we got from Christian Brothers - both in service and value. Thank you!

Eddy, his brother, and I believe his name was Juan?, moved us up the the mountains. Incredible work ethic, professionalism, and just hammered it out. No complaints, no excuses…just hard work. They also packed our things up nicely, as well as loaded the truck securely. These guys were just awesome. Wish we knew about this company earlier on! Ryan

Second time using Christian Brothers and can’t recommend them enough! They make the process so simple and easy as a single mom. And they are affordable. Had Luis, Jimmy, and Cesar R this move and they were great! Fast, efficient, and very professional.

Would definitely NOT recommend. We had multiple damaged items, including a completely shattered mirror that they were just going to leave in my garage. I have 4 kids and that is completely inappropriate to leave a shattered mirror that was damaged by the company in our garage. I shouldn’t have even had to ask. No apology, just an informing of the fact that the mirror was damaged. Multiple multiple other pieces of furniture damaged. Yes you want your movers to be quick and efficient but you do not want to be careless and so rushed that things are missed and damaged. Unfortunately both crews on the pickup and delivery were both careless and way too rushed. We also experience a lot of general attitude and lack of kindness from both crews. Overall a very disappointing experience. Also, worth noting that the claims process is an absolute JOKE. 60 cents per pound which is just laughable even if it is an industry standard which I’m sure they would say it is. But they have you use a separate claims company and the information they require (weight of each item, receipts of each item, etc) is just beyond ridiculous. Damaged items included dining chairs, a sectional, shelves, dressers, the mirror…it would have taken me forever to try to get this information for them so I just gave up. Who realistically would have the time to come up w all of the information to receive back 60 cents a pound ??♀️??♀️

I have never written a negative review for any business before until now: Awful customer service, very unorganized, inefficient and even dishonest. I paid for 3 movers; got 1 who actually did his job, one who was lazy and the last one extremely overweight could not lift anything and spent his time just sitting! They even left with remaining furniture still outside to be moved inside! I couldn't believe it! Fortunately, friends helped me move the rest inside!I contacted Christina Brothers Movers asking for a refund from $1,200.0 I paid for labor. I got a refund of only $108.00! Several items ( dinnerware, plates, bowls, furniture broken) were damaged from the inefficiency of the move and movers. I took pictures of every item detailing the damage and the retail cost from the vendors website to replace them and submitted to both the moving company and their insurance co. I was told to file a claim with their insurance company. I did so. I just heard from the insurance company that I would receive a $69.00 payment ( less the $18.00 cost of the notarized documents) net $58.00 for almost $1,000. of itemized cost to replace/repair! ( e.g. $3 to replace 6 china plates!)This move was riddled with poor communication, lack of professionalism, lack of quality service, inefficiency. I believe the costs were even manipulated to the customer's detriment. A total NIGHTMARE!No, I do not recommend employing this company!

The worst moving experience I've ever had, and that's saying a lot considering I have moved 26 times in the last 41 years. I opted to go with a local company assuming, since they advertise as being in Ft Collins, that they actually operated out of Ft Collins as well as Denver and Colorado Springs. Wrong! The day they were supposed to come pack, the crew didn't arrive until after 11 am. I was called and told they needed to stop and pick up more moving boxes. This was not a last-minute job, so why weren't they prepared? When they got to the house, I discovered that the packing crew - all very young and inexperienced - drove up to just shy of Red Feather Lakes from Englewood, not Ft Collins. And they charged me for the travel time - 2+ hours instead of 1 and it was going to be the same for their return trip. Incredible! And the packing crew was terrible. I just didn't realize how bad until we started unpacking at the other end. The crew was slow and when the "crew chief" came to me a t 5 pm and wanted to take the crew home and come back the next day, I emphatically said no, they were going to finish packing that day. Not only was I not going to pay for an additional 4+ hours of travel time, I was furious they started so late. The next day the moving crew showed up with three 26' trucks. They were pretty quick in terms of time, but didn't a tight job loading our household goods in the trucks. Since everything was going into storage for at least a few months, I expected they would move everything into the storage unit as tightly as possible. No, their policy is one truck one storage unit, so I was charged for three units for what ended up being 6 months. When it came time to ship our stuff to South Carolina, again they rented three 26' trucks instead of tightly packing everything into two trucks. And it would have fit. I'm used to movers taking precautions with walls, especially in stairwells, and floors taping paper to make sure that they didn't leave marks. Nope, not this crew and the walls were marked up. They unloaded, headed to Charlotte (2 hours away) to fly home. Now if they had asked, I could have told them that they could fly back to Denver from Greenville-Spartanburg Airport, less then 15 minutes from our house, but I wasn't consulted. We started to unpack slowly. The house we were in was temporary while we built another, so we didn't unpack everything immediately. Over the next several months/year we started to open boxes and that's when I realized how crappy the packing and loading/moving was and the major toll it took on our stuff. Here are a few examples - a Christmas dinner set for four, now for three, an antique pewter pitcher severely bent at the base, a Navaho vase, not wrapped at all, smashed to shards, an entire box of beer glasses completely broken (it was smashed from the top even though FRAGILE was written on the box), and a computer monitor at the bottom of the box, again not wrapped. We're in our new house and now finishing up the last of the unpacking and I'm afraid to open my crystal and china boxes. We have had more items broken in this move then in all our other moves combined. Simply awful!I will give the office staff credit for accommodating the many extensions we had to make for our storage, but that's about as far as I will go with praise. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

If zero stars was an option I would use it, but don't want people to think I forgot to make a selection. I have moved more than a dozen times across the country and this local move was in the top two worst experiences. I was promised and made a down payment for two trucks and two crews, one showed up. I was promised professional packers for the kitchen and artwork, the crew didn't speak English and had no clue how to build glass packs or prepare furniture to be loaded and stored. Was promised storage in their onsite warehouse and on the day of the move had to scramble to secure a third-party unit. That wasn't the worst of it, the crew stole from me and there was extensive damage to my belongings when taken out of storage. This includes broken curio shelves, scratched and gouged antique furniture, broken items, damaged leather furniture, etc. The company would not stand behind the unprofessional handling or cooperate with compensation, thinking it is ok to offer $18 based on the weight of a $2000 bike that was stolen. My advice, steer clear of this organization.

I was so disappointed with how we were treated by Christian Brothers Moving and Storage. When they moved us from our home into storage for a year, everything was great but when it was time to move us into our new home, everything fell apart. They did not have a record of us changing the date of our move and after waiting for a year to move into our new home I had to wait yet another day. The foreman was friendly and the workers were friendly but I don't believe they were "true employees" of the company as it claims. There was a distinctive language barrier and the foreman kept telling me how much stuff I had. I fed them multiple snacks, water, gatorade and sandwiches for dinner, but finally had to ask them to unwrap the plastic from the furniture. They didn't bother doing anything in the basement. After the move in, we started noticing that we had many missing items. They found 3 of the items but it took 3 weeks of me making phone calls to get those delivered. I put a claim in for the missing items (which requires the claim to be notarized !!!) and was awarded a grand total of $143.00 that only covered our CA King box springs. After the claim, I have found we are missing an antique tv that has sentimental memories to my husband and two large boxes of clothing that also contained a great deal of memorabilia as well as other items. It is too late to make a claim and since they do it by pound it is not even worth the effort. I emailed and received a cursory response of "my warehouse manager walked the warehouse and he doesn't see your lost items. Have you unpacked all your boxes? " What happened to the items???? How do they get lost when you paid for 2 storage units within their warehouse for one full year??? Their customer service is non-existent and it is clear that the wonderful woman I worked with before, Cynthia, is not longer there. The transition has not been good and I would never ever go with this company again or recommend them. It is so disappointing that a company would treat customers like they have and lose items that have no monetary value but so much sentimental value...it doesn't matter how much it weighs. The loss weighs heavy on our hearts.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I went with this company because they seemed to have great customer service and were prompt at the beginning, they seemed trustworthy and promised to make it right if anything was damaged. once it came time to moving, everyone was completely unprepared even though I had given an itemized list of everything that needed to be moved. the movers left a muddy mess in the house with no apologies or offers to make it right. they argued with me and I asked if they could do a better job to keep our new house, new hardwood and carpet clean. they suggested we go buy something to keep it clean. items are lost and broken (antiques and items from my mother who recently died), and although at first their customer service was great and prompt, it's been a month and no one will call me back to make this right after countless messages and calls and emails. Not an honest company!
