I have been going to DR auto for about 2 years. I was taking my 2 one ton pick up trucks there for routine maintenance and any repairs that were needed. I was happy with DR auto’s maintenance but once I needed any repairs or problems diagnosed they did not live up to their reputation.First attempt at letting DR auto repair my oil leak. Rick called and stated the upper oil pan needed fixing and it would cost $2200. I agreed and dropped my truck off. 5 days later I called Rick and he said it would be another week because the mechanic was out with a cold. I picked the truck up and brought it back a week later. It took the mechanic the weekend to fix the truck and I picked it up Monday morning. To my surprise I still had an oil leak and even worst than before. I took it back and Rick said they would have to redo the job and that they would need to put a new oil pan costing another $1400. At this point I agreed but wasn’t happy that the repair almost doubled in cost. Upon picking the truck up I noticed the mechanic did not even change the oil filter after changing the oil and oil pan. I pointed this out to Rick and he made sure it got changed. The mechanic stated “well if this doesn’t work we will try the timing cover next” the last time I was there. At this point it’s obvious to me that the initial diagnosis of a leaking oil pan was not the problem and cost me over $4000 when it was all said and done. For about two weeks it seemed as though the leak was fixed! But unfortunately on week 3 the leak had returned and I am in the same position as I was when I brought the truck in to DR auto, just minus $4000.Last incident that made me never return is, I had 9 dtc codes come on and decided to take my truck to them to see what was wrong. I dropped it off and a few hours later I received a call that they had erased all the dtc codes and they drove the truck for 30 minutes and they didn’t return so it must be ok?! I went to go pick the truck up and was upset that they didn’t do any diagnostics to find out the problem. They charged me $170 and even had a charge for shop supplies?! There was no work performed, auto zone can turn dtc’s off. Well sure enough the check engine lights came back on and I decided to hire another mechanic instead. He came to my house plugged in his obd2 reader and found out my throttle valve was bad and needs replaced, replaced it and had me back on the road. I am an over the road driver and my vehicles need to be In top shape and not leave me stranded. In my opinion DR auto is too busy with fleet accounts and cannot seem to accommodate personal accounts. I and many other customers have even suffered lot damage to our trucks because of the poor care of customer vehicles and lack of space to accommodate their fleet accounts.I am upset at DR auto and their ability to diagnose problems with vehicles, DR auto unfortunately will throw parts at your vehicle until it’s fixed at your expense. I would much rather pay more up front and have the problemfixed the first go around and keep me safe. Rick and Bree are great and they do a great job on the front end, unfortunately the BOH/mechanics do not live up to their end.

I had a fantastic repair experience here. The auto shop I had gone to before quoted me double the price and was not honest about the work I needed to have done, they were also very aggressive about the necessity of the repairs they were telling me I needed.Rick and his team saved me money and got everything done in a short amount of time. I appreciate their pragmatic approach to their work. I will absolutely be back!

I took my box truck here for service. DR Auto did a comprehensive check up and was honest in their assessment, resulting in quick and quality service at a very reasonable cost. I trust this business and will continue to do business with them! If you want an honest mechanic that can work on commercial vehicles, DR Auto is that business.

Took my truck down after work yesterday, had some power loss issues, and they had a diagnosis for my truck by end of day. Will be working with them to get the part sourced and installed. Also the other front end issues with my truck. Very courteous and honest. Highly recommendedService: Auto engine diagnostic

I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was some bulls***Surely inspiration for the parking lot jam game. There were many cars and trucks double and triple parked in the small lot. I parked in the only spot that wouldn't block another car. Before I could get out of my car to ask where to park, Rick came running out and yelled that I can't park there, that i was blocking a door. Embarrassed, I maneuvered into a small spot as Rick watched.Already stressed about the prospect of an expensive car repair bill, I had to compose myself before going in. I checked in and forty minutes later Rick told me that it was an evaporator issue. To diagnose the problem a "smoke test" was needed, $160, 1-2 hours. The price seemed high just to find out the issue and after the interaction with Rick I was done. And for those like me who don't know much about cars, I was advised by another mechanic to get an emissions test that indicated the issue for $25.

Had a '05 Grand cherokee & a '07 Highlander serviced here and they did a great job. They also beat out other repair shop quotes on price. . Saved about $800 by going with Dr. Auto. .

I took my vehicle to DR Auto after having shocks and struts replaced elsewhere, and the front end started making this horrible grinding noise. They inspected it for free, told me what the issue was, put it into writing and had me take it back to the original place to get it repaired. This helped me convince the original place that something was truly wrong, and it got gixed. Before I left DR they assured me that they would take care of me if I had any other needs. I booked my next oil change there for my VW diesel. They were fast and their price was incredible. Oil change done in less than an hour ! No BS, no trying to convince you what to do...this place is where I'll go from now on for anything mechanical on my vehicle !

Poor customer service. Rick was very unprofessional and I will never take my car here. He was very rude and sarcastic. Just not somewhere I would trust with any of my vehicles

Honest guys, no BS, took an old Cummins in and they knew what was up and recommended an easy fix vs and expensive one, also taken in Isuzus with same straight forward experience. No wonder they're busy all the time. Just wish they had a bigger parking lot!

Just took my SUV in for an alignment. The tech must have ran into or brushed up against something and left nasty scratches on the rear bumper. I spoke to the manager and told him “I’m not asking you to replace or repair it” just wanted him to see what his tech did. I know accidents happen, and I wasn’t looking for anything besides them to take responsibility and apologize. Didn’t get a “we’re sorry it won’t happen again” or anything. Just put the blame on me saying nope it was already there. Very unprofessional.
