EASEL - Englewood Art Studios Events Lessons

Hours: EASEL - Englewood Art Studios Events Lessons has fulfilled most of its vision. The gallery has been humming along in its new home, using all three gallery spaces plus the long hallway. All studio spaces have been allocated, and various workshops and classes have been conducted. A nice, light-filled workshop space is available for up to a dozen people. Open studio time is offered to the public on an hourly basis, and spaces can be rented for events. A fully-equipped kitchen is available. EASEL has created a critical mass of arts-oriented businesses in Englewood and has been one of the forces behind Second Saturday Englewood, with a dozen or more of the 40 art businesses, studios, and restaurants offering extended hours and special events on the second Saturday of each month. The City's free BERT shuttle bus has a special route connecting these locations. Visitors are welcomed by artists who point out the different galleries and answer questions. Works range from $25 on up, with a variety of art at every price point. Shows change every month. The space is stunning—elegant, inviting, and thoughtfully curated. The rainbow steps up to the space make people happy. Event space to rent and art classes are available. It is a great addition to the community.
