The Englewood Recreation Center is a well-equipped gym and community center that offers a great experience for its visitors. The facility boasts a wide range of machines and tools, making it easy for people to get into a workout routine. The suspended track and glass walls provide a pleasant environment, taking the boredom out of running in circles. The pools are nice, although they can get crowded at times. The sauna on-site is generously sized, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, the facility could use a facelift, as some areas show signs of aging. Additionally, there seems to be some confusion regarding the residency requirements, with some visitors being told they are not considered Englewood residents, despite having lived there for years and receiving mail at their Englewood address. Overall, the Englewood Recreation Center is a valuable asset to the community, providing a great space for exercise, recreation, and social interaction. The facility is well-maintained, with a focus on cleanliness and user-friendly amenities. The pool and weight room are particularly praised, making the center a popular destination for both local residents and those willing to pay a slightly higher fee.
Great place to stay active and have fun. The facility has solid equipment, a nice pool, and friendly staff. It’s clean and welcoming for all ages. I always enjoy my visits here.
