I have done 5 kitchens with KFC at this point and can't wait to do the next! Kelsey and team are great to work with, design your space based on what you need and don't upsell. and deliver on the finished product! Overall they are a great local company you can trust!

We used Kelsey as our designer and couldn’t be happier! We did our kitchen, mudroom, and fireplace with her. She was so patient and helpful and really worked with me to bring my vision to life. It was such a relief to have someone with taste and experience to be able to consult with. Would definitely recommend.

Our home builder, Redeux Developments, used Kitchen & Floor Concepts for our countertops and floors throughout our new build.
We heard from other Redeux customers that they could have done better on hardwood floors. Our experience aligns with this as our floors have multiple unaddressed squeaky spots.
We had multiple sinks that were not fully caulked when installed. Thankfully, Geno, the owner, came out to fix them.
During our countertop installs, I had three vanity countertops that were fabricated and installed backward. Two were fixed shortly after installation, but one still needs to be fixed. Geno confirmed the remaining countertop to be backward when fixing the shoddy caulking job.
Finally, during the fabrication of one kitchen countertop, the cutout for our cooktop is not square on the countertop, so it sits at an angle.

Geno and his team were very solid to work with. They quickly sanded our water damaged floors and they look great now! The bathroom remodel was done exactly as we imagined it and they worked with us and our vision. The project manager Val is very communicative and always seems to be available for questions or suggestions. Their subcontractor, Noe, did great work from demo, to tile setting, to framing. We will be using them again when we decide to update our guest bathroom.

Under a huge time crunch, Kelsey and her construction team gave my kitchen the facelift it needed before I moved into my new home: new island, countertops and back splash. She kept costs under control and was extremely responsive and fun to work with. I’ll be using her services again when I tackle the laundry room and baths. Strongly recommend!

We had Kitchen and Floor concepts remodel our master bath. It was a nightmare and they caused damage to our hard wood floors downstairs because they did not water proof the shower. The fixed the shower. And now only a yeah and half later our grout in the shower is cracking and looks like it is already 20 years old. The repairs left chips in the tile. For the cost to have our bathroom remodel by this company and the results. I would never recommend them. Quality of work is not something they take pride in. I can’t even call them to fix it as they caused more damage from their last repair.

We hired Kitchen & Floor Concepts to finish our basement. Geno was really great in the planning and design process. He walked us through the various decision points and was very helpful throughout the life of the project. We found him to be very knowledgeable and creative. Our project manager Valera was all over the project. He made sure everything stayed on schedule (or at least as much as possible with a construction project) and kept us informed. He was super responsive to our questions and concerns and always maintained a positive attitude (which can be tough in this business). The subcontractors and tradesmen were all very professional, did their best to avoid disruptions, and were responsive to our requests. No construction project is without its challenges and headaches - it’s unavoidable and as an owner you need to be involved. However, we really appreciated this company’s customer service, commitment to delivery of a product they can proud of, and their ability to problem solve. We are really happy with the end result and plan to work with them again on other projects at the house.Services: Tile work installation

Finding a good contractor is a known challenge. I was lucky and blessed to hire the right team, who not only disassembled the falling apart patio ceiling, but also reinforced the entire structure, installed the new ceiling using better materials, painted and left area clean. They also suggested future design improvements that I am looking forward to complete soon.

Val at Kitchen & Floor Concepts did an amazing remodel of our bathroom. We had just remodeled this bathroom with another company that did a terrible job and took a very long time. Val came to our rescue, redid the shower in 2 days and it is perfect! We could not be more pleased!

Horrible experience. We only chose them because our basement GC recommended them in the first place.1) would almost never show up when they were supposed to. Their initial contract states they will work 8-5 and let you know if they need to work different hours. That never happened, the tiler was here until 10 pm some nights without asking.2) awful craftsmanship. The floor leveling was horrendous. They charged us $3000 for floor prep well this was done terribly, and had to be redone at least 2 times. Still not visibly level.3) just horrible overall overall experience. Attached you’ll see the revised “final” product of the tile trim I already had then replace. This is where it is when I was emailed and asked to confirm it “looks as great as ***** says it looks.” When I sent a picture showing the rough edges asking if it could be caulked I was told yes and a time was scheduled to do so. Well that was 2 weeks ago and it didn’t happen and the owner hasn’t responded.Don’t contract with them.

The end product turned out decent, but it was definitely an uphill battle. I was initially impressed with the design center and I liked the quality of products they offered. The rep didn’t seem to be taking notes as we walked through the showroom though, so a mistake was made on my cabinet order. Also, when the cabinet came in it was the wrong size, despite their crew coming to my house to do on site measurements. The right size cabinet with the missing drawer was eventually ordered. The tile work on the wet bar was done well. The kitchen backsplash was not done well though. It was herringbone and turned out very uneven. There were uneven spaces throughout the pattern and an uneven edge at the top that could be seen from the living room. It didn’t look professionally done. So, this tile had to be redone. When they redid the backsplash, they left the outlets that they pulled out dangling outside the wall.I had to call them and ask them to fix this. It took about a week before they fixed that.Along with bad installation, there seemed to be a lack of communication within the company. As a result, my family lived in what felt like a construction zone for three weeks. The old floors and toilets were pulled out so the tile work could be done and we were told it would be a quick job. However, they floor tile could not be done in a timely manner because the necessary preparation wasn’t done beforehand. The tiler showed up and started complaining that the other guy never prepped the floor. So, a two day process turned into over a two week process. All the while we have all our toilets in the main living areas pulled out, plus a toddler we are trying to potty train and we aren’t able to use the showers in those bathrooms. When the tile work was finally complete, I noticed it was not done right. The tile was visibly diagonal instead of parallel. The tile in the master bath was laid the wrong way, despite me telling the designer which way it needed to go. I also found a few large gaps along the tile. One vent was completely covered with tile. I had to convince the guy that there was a vent there and he eventually removed the tile covering it. Several vents were left jagged and the vent covers would not fit back in. I had to ask them to fix that. The floor tile had to be redone. The whole experience was stressful and I felt like I had to be home to quality check all the work because so much was not done correctly the first time. Now, there are still some extra materials that I’ve asked them to pickup. The construction manager said they’d come back to take them once they had the truck that week. However, it’s been about a month and a half/two months and the materials are still in my garage. I’ve sent about three emails, several texts and no one will come get the stuff.I believe this company needs to improve internal communication and hire contractors that are better at their craft, so projects can be done well and in a more timely manner. I do appreciate them finally getting the job done, but I had to dedicate a lot of my own time to let contractors in and be home to check the quality of work.Services: Install flooring
