DO NOT ADOPT FROM THIS RESCUE! THEY HAD THEIR LICENSE REVOKED FOR A REASON. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

Very caring rescue helping mothers and their pups get a better living situation. Colorado Agriculture agency is acting recklessly as well as ignoring the needs of the animals. Agency should do their own investigation and not rely on posts by invisible people. Might consider that they need to justify having a job or Elon Musk axe your agency

Internet trolls should not be allowed to leave reviews.
I have worked with a variety of rescues over the past 15 years and I can say with complete confidence that no other rescue goes above and beyond quite like MAMCO. They take their disease control and prevention very seriously and follow the strictest protocols. They also do fecal exams on all of their dogs and puppies, something I have never seen another rescue do. They truly love the dogs and they work extremely hard to take care of their fosters and adopters, even with a tiny staff.
I have been nothing but impressed every time I have visited. I have volunteered 6 times and have been to approximately 11 events in an effort to investigate local rescues before I decide to adopt. I am not quite ready yet, but when I am, I will be team MAMCO. I highly recommend this group.

License pulled for good reason. Too much blood on their hsnds from negligence and poor animal medical practice.

We adopted 2 years ago, and it was the best decision we have ever made! The entire adoption process was smooth, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Thank you MAMCO for rescuing and connecting us with our sweet puppy Astro. We couldn’t be happier. The whole experience was extremely smooth and the staff is wonderful. They saved Astro from a kill shelter in Texas where he would have been euthanized. Astro was found off the streets and had gotten worms - they were already on top of his fecal tests and provided us with medications to take care of him. Do not believe any of these crazy uninformed activists leaving fake 1-Star awful reviews. They actually had us a little bit worried after reading them before we actually visited. But I read the owners comments and I can fully attest to the professionalism that we experienced here. I think these reviewers have cruel intentions and don’t understand the good that this rescue mission provides to animals and people in need. I would recommend MAMCO to anyone and we will be donating more in the future to help their mission. They really are a wonderful organization. Thanks again to the whole team there!!

I often work with dogs adopted out of MAMCO post-placement when the adopters reach out for training. The amount of puppies we have to delay our program start on from this org after placement because they are sick is obscene. I do not recommend adopting from this group unless you're willing to care for a sick puppy immediately without their support and further, delay that puppy's ability to get enrolled in programs to develop their socialization. The carelessness of this organization not only costs consumers care expenses they likely weren't expecting right out of the gate, it impacts the bottom line of other local small businesses and most importantly, it impacts the long term behavioral health of the puppies they claim to care so much about. Do better! We as a dog loving community are sick of dealing with this.

not a good rescue in my experience of fostering. i do appreciate that they save pets lives, but they charge waaaay too much to adopt. i would have older dogs languish in my care because they wanted 300$ for a no dental care, older female dog with health issues-/// i am editing this to respond to you. / i am a real person with a history with you & your adoption group. i saw the ugly side of what you do, but its worth it because you do good work also. have a good one- // edit: 100 percent ex foster for this group, who's leader has so much time for poison penning back to everyone who is not happy with them!

But has anyone ever rescued the mom dog? What is happening to the mom dogs after the puppies are sold for $800?

Although it’s been almost 3 years since I adopted from MAMCO, I felt compelled to write a review now that some Denver friends have been looking for trustworthy rescues!
Before I adopted Millie, I attended a few of MAMCO’s adoption events, and they couldn’t have been more kind, helpful, and SAFE! When I decided I wanted to meet my pup for potential adoption, the process was so seamless. Their fosters are great people too; Millie’s foster even wrote us a letter that we still have! Yes, MAMCO is a bit more expensive than some other rescues, but it is more than worth it for everything that comes included in the adoption fee, and to help support the great work that they do. And of course, I would have paid that fee a million times over if it meant I’d get to have my soulmate dog!

What a fantastic experience. The facility was clean and the staff was so friendly. They take cross contamination very serious and from what I saw. Follow universal precautions to the letter. It was nice to see it happening.
It is great to see how much they care about the dogs, puppies and soon to be owners. Every step of the way, nothing but kindness and good vibes from the whole staff. Tip to tail, amazing.
To top this off, the "little" girl we got is just amazing. Her behavior and temper are truly signs of being loved from day one. We are so happy to have added Nimueh (Wavelength)to our family.

We had a fantastic adoption experience yesterday at MAMCO! Excellent communication throughout, and you can tell they truly care about their animals and their customers! Ashton (known to y’all as Barry) is amazing! We just love our new fur baby! Thank you, Sara for helping us and keeping him in your home as a foster. He was just waiting for us!
