Max Automotive performed a Pre-Purchase Inspection for me and gave an honest, comprehensive account of all present issues while offering professional insight for the unknowns, without a doubt saving me a couple thousand in potential repairs. They were kind, courteous, and knowledgeable on a short notice. If I ever buy a car up in Denver, Max will be my first stop for inspection!

Avoid this place – they are a scam operation posing as an auto mechanic. I went in for a simple oil change, and immediately afterward a warning light started blinking, something that had never happened in the 6 years I’ve owned my car. When I brought it up, the mechanic refused to take responsibility and instead tried to charge me $150 just to diagnose the problem they caused.

I appreciated the pricing and communication. I knew about how much this work should cost and they weren't cheap, but they were really reasonable. They communicated well and over text (which I appreciated). And when I requested additional service (new fuel filter with a new fuel pump), they didn't use that as an opportunity to charge me a ton more. They did it while they had the lines disconnected and charged minimally. Really appreciated them!

I’m so relieved to have found a trustworthy shop. They went over all the things that needed to be replaced and said that they didn’t need to be done today, but to keep an eye on it. They even told me that I didn’t need a few items on my scheduled maintenance at all as they were perfectly fine. They also wrote me up an estimate for when I can afford the repairs at a later date, so I can prepare. I’m riding my old car into the ground so appreciate how they handle estimates and repairs. I’m for sure be going back in future.

I know one of the owners Shaun, we were former co workers at Lenderlive. Shaun, his brother, former co-worker. Opened Max Automotive about late 2021. I ask Shawn to review some suggested fixes from a competitor repair shop.
His appraisal of repair work estimates were close to standard charges here in the metro area. Unnecessary repairs from the other shop was bogus.
I highly recommend Max Automotive..

Went in a little skeptical because of bad luck with my car and finding reliable mechanics that are both competent and honest. But left feeling excited about trusting Max Auto with my car, it is driving so much better. And through conversations with James (((who is incredible))) I could tell that they spent the care and time to properly diagnose and come up with an affordable game plan to get me out on the road. Thanks again to the techs and James for taking care of me.
