Gustavo did a great job with my dog! He sent daily updates with progress photos and walked me through the whole process. I would highly recommend this to friends and family who are at a hault with their dog training

I highly recommend Off-Leash K9 Training! If you’ve even remotely thought of doing any sort of training for your dog, this is the place. Gustavo aka “Goose” was an amazingly patient and thorough trainer for my 7.5 year old yellow lab mix, also named Goose ☺️. “Goose” was able to connect with my Goose so quickly and gave me the skills I needed to do the same thing when we weren’t in his trainings. My dog Goose is better with recall, and I am now completely comfortable with him being off leash, now that I have the right tools and Goose has had the proper training. Thank you so much again!

These folks are great. My wife and I took our 5 year old shepherd mix here and are so happy we did. Our trainer Gustavo was amazing. He did an incredible job with our very energetic dog, and was always clear and patient when walking through the trainings. In just a month working with him, Otis picked up so many helpful behavioral traits and commands!

We enrolled our 13 month old golden retriever and Bernese in the board and train with Gustavo. He kept us updated on their work and progress every day with texts and videos which was great to see! Since we picked them up the difference has been amazing. We no longer worry about taking them everywhere with us and can’t wait to continue working with them. Thanks Gustavo & Off leash training!

Amazing Job by Gustavo here at Off-Leash K9 I'm really impressed and happy with my rotties' training. Definitely recommend them if you're looking to get your dog trained properly. I was provided with daily pictures and video updates throughout the 2 week training camp and I could tell Gustavo was taking care of my rottie as if he was his dog. Thank you Gustavo!

Our puppy Myla stayed with trainer Gustavo here at off leash k9training. We are so happy we went with this decision. Myla is a much more well behaved dog now. She used to jump on anything you could think of. And get into trouble all the time. Thanks to Gustavo’s great knowledge. she is behaving and learning how to enjoy life in a much safer way. Definitely recommend trusting him with the your dog you won’t regret it.

We brought our 7 month old Silver Lab Goose to train with Gustavo aka “Goose”. Gustavo worked day in and day out with Goose to turn him from a wild puppy to a very obedient young pup. Goose is so well behaved already and I can’t wait to see him progress even further as we continue to work with him! Thank you Gustavo and the rest of the Off Leash K9 team for everything!

Dan at Off-Leash was a fantastic trainer to both me and my frenchie, Nash. Nash learned so many things easily from Dan, and I now have a more calm, disciplined, happy and confident dog!

Derek at Off-Leash did a phenomenal job with our 7 month of puppy. She came out a well behaved dog who enjoys to work. We couldn't be happier with her progress. I especially liked the daily updates and videos that they send. It gave my family and I peace of mind knowing she was safe and progressing nicely. Thanks again Derek and I couldn't recommend them more.

Dan is the man!!! My dog Bonnie (pit bull/ German shepherd mix) did a two week board and train program and she is a changed woman! Dan also offered to watch her for an extra week until I got back from my trip which was super helpful. Dan is a great communicator - we are still in communication about Bonnie’s training months later giving me tips and advice to reinforce the training. He’s always available to answer any random questions I have. Bonnie is so much happier now that she really understands what is expected of her. Can’t believe I waited so long to get her trained. Ask for Dan if you want to change your life and your dogs life for the better!! He really cares and is the the kindest guy at off leash k9. Thank you Dan - for everything you do!

Background: My dog, Wonton, is a gentleman 90% of the time. He is a bit moody and like a cat/dog in that 90%, and is pretty chill doing his own thing, but will listen and occasionally demand attention from myself and others. He's a smart one and knows plenty of the basics (sit, stay, down, etc.) That other 10% though, is sometimes wanting to mark every 17 seconds on walks, a strong prey drive (he has killed rabbits before) and selective hearing/being extremely stubborn.I knew he was capable of more and there were three areas I was hoping to focus on. 1.) I really wanted to have Wonton be able to heel reliably 2.) I desperately wanted to get Wonton in a place where I had full confidence in his off-leash abilities. Specifically, I wanted to be able to have him off-leash for a backpacking trip I had planned. And 3.) Wonton can be shy and fearful (he will shake sometimes just sitting in my car), which sometimes means he will bark and snap at dogs that come up to him / he will have zero interest in saying hi to any dog, and I felt he lacked a lot of confidence. Going back to his cat/dog personality, he would "hide" a lot too. After reading more about Off-Leash K9 Training and doing an initial consultation, I decided on the two week board and train with Dan. I know it is quite expensive, but I was hoping would really get Wonton in a place where we had clear lines of communication in the moments that mattered most as well as boosting his confidence. After dropping off Wonton, each day I would get a text summary of what Dan and Wonton worked on, as well as an adorable video with some highlights. Dan was always responsive to any questions I had (and I had plenty) to better understand what I was seeing. I know at the end of the two weeks I am the one that gets trained on what Dan/Wonton have done, so I wanted to be as best prepared for that as possible.I won't go through everything that was part of the pick up session, but will instead focus on what has changed since going through the two week board and train. First, and this was a bit of a surprise to me, Wonton does not shake in the car anymore. He still doesn't love going in, but at least he seems more comfortable and knows he is going to be OK. Second, with his e-collar I do feel fully confident in our ability to communicate and have him off leash. The backpacking trip was amazing and it was so nice not to have him pulling on a leash or marking all the time. He was mostly just on the trail leading the way having the best time of his life. And back at home, a lot of this is on myself to make sure I put his e-collar on and be consistent, as he has tricked me once or twice when I let him out to potty in the middle of the night. He is smart and knows when he is e-collared or not. Dan told me this could/would be the case for some time. And I am also happy to report his confidence has gone up. This is not to say he is a totally different dog, there are still some he just has no interest in saying hi to, but for the first time in a long time he does want to introduce himself to other dogs and is a pure gentleman about it.Wonton is still a dog and has plenty of moments that I have to be on top of, and quirks that will just be part of him, but I really am so glad that I put Wonton through the two week board and train with Dan. I feel that I have the tools and ability to communicate with Wonton in ways I did not before.P.S. I initially didn't really care too much about Wonton learning "place" - now though it is quite handy for getting photos of him :P

I can’t say enough good things about Dan at K9 Off Leash. My dog Miso started becoming leash reactive when I moved to Denver 2 months ago. Miso has always been sweet but was having a lot of trouble adjusting to his new surroundings and was pulling, barking, and growling. It was to the point where I was scared to walk him at normal hours because I didn’t want him to scare the people in my apartment complex. I started working with Dan and after four sessions, I can say that he has really helped me learn how to advocate for Miso and instill confidence when he sees other dogs and people. Miso has gotten better control of his reactivity, and I have the tools to continue to train him independently. Every time I had a question, Dan responded to me within a couple of hours, and was patient and kind when learning Miso’s mannerisms. I really can’t say enough good things about this place, it is completely worth the money and the time for your pup!

My fiance and I adopted a very skiddish Bernedoodle from a private owner who really struggled with anxiety, especially around men. During our time working with our trainer, Dan, our dog has really blossomed into being a more confident girl. We have even gotten compliments from our friends saying that she seems more calm & overall happy. We were initially worried she would not take to training well (due to what we had heard about the breed) however, Dan was incredibly patient & diligent with her in a way that helped her succeed. We are eternally grateful for our time with Dan & cannot say enough good things about our experience. Thanks so much! -Sushi & Co

Dan was absolutely amazing! We did beginner puppy training with sit, place, heal and down. Night and day for our 6 month old rescue! Will 100% recommend to everyone and we’ll be back for more advanced training courses
