Michael and his team were absolutely amazing to work with! They did a great job helping me through my home purchase, and were very communicative and quick. Weekly updates, personalized videos, and so much more really made this home buying experience so easy. They truly are the dream team. I would recommend Michael and his team to anyone buying a home as they really make the experience very easy.

My wife, Montana, and I found Michael over a year ago. At that time we weren't fully ready to purchase a home but he walked us through the preliminary process with ease. Now nearly one full year later we have keys to our first ever home with a massive thanks to Michael and his incredible team. We had many questions and a few speed bumps along the way but between him and Melissa we were able to keep pushing through. Thank you all for your time, patience and expertise - we are incredibly grateful!

Can't say enough positive things about how great it was to work with Michael and his team; Melissa and Shaunna. I so appreciated the immediacy of everyone's responses, the frequent communications and reliable status updates. Michael gave me a plethora of options and insights that enabled me to choose the ideal scenario for my new home purchase. I hope to stay in my beautiful new home for many many years to come but if I don't, if I need to refinance, or if I know anyone else seeking a new loan, I won't turn to anyone but the Shotnik team!!

Almost 4 years later and rates have dropped so it was time to refinance again. The refinance market is crazy right now and I reached out to a few different lenders. Michael and his team responded immediately giving me the best options and service so I decided go with them again. Weekly updates via phone or video message and very prompt responses to any questions. Even with the craziness of a pandemic (and the extra verifications that has created) they got me application to close in less than 30 days allowing me to pay off debt and significantly reduce my monthly expenditures. I couldn't be happier with my decision to stick with Michael, Melissa, and Shauna.

My wife and I just refinanced my house with Michael and I could not have been happier with the process. The rates and fees were better than I expected and I was blown away how easy everything was. As a business owner, I was expecting a lot of requests for additional documents and explanations of my expenses and write-offs however this never came up. I have worked with the Shotnik team now on two mortgages and one re-fi and would highly recommend them. Their treatment is white glove throughout the entire process. They are friendly and knowledgeable and walk you through every step, explaining everything in terms that are easily understood. We received regular updates and were provided with fun but helpful videos about the next step at every juncture. Their approach is consultative and helps with determining the solution that works best for you. They were also good about gently reminding us of needed actions and keeping us on task. Couldn't have gone smoother.

I have worked with the Michael Shotnik Team for a long time, both on purchase and refinance. Mike and his team do an outstanding job of explaining the mortgage process to borrowers and helping them get under contract on their home. Mike always call the realtor selling the home and introduces himself and explains what all he has already done to get your loan closed when the house sells, making your offer really strong. I highly recommend the Michael Shotnik team to anybody looking to buy a home or refinance their existing mortgage.

It was our first time buying a home and we definitely had nerves. Michael and Melissa were recommended by our realtor and we are so glad to have received that recommendation. Michael and Melissa both kept in touch with us (weekly and as needed) over the course of a month to make sure we understood what was happening next in the process and answered any and all questions quickly, thoroughly, and patiently. Michael called each of us separately to explain our rate choices to us, then met with us on top of that to make sure that we were making the best choice. I've already referred Michael's team to my friends and definitely wouldn't hesitate to make the recommendation to anyone else.

It was our first home purchase, so needless to say, we were nervous and didn't know what to expect. Going through Colorado Mortgage was the best decision we made.
