Was scammed on gas with a rental truck. I even turned in picture proof of returning the truck with more gas than I picked it up. Their response was that they could not issue a refund on the gas but no reasoning as to why.

I literally have never written a review in my life but these scammers charged me for an entire tank of gas when I returned it in full!! Just find another Uhaul these guys are shady. I picked the van up on full, only drove about 30 miles, then filled it up before bringing it back. It was the middle of the day, nothing could have happened. It was the only ban they had no mixing it up. This was clearly done on purpose, DON'T GO HERE.

I went in because I had some questions about my charges. I talked with the general manager. I wasn't understanding what she was saying. She started talking to me very aggressively. I had to leave in the middle of the conversation due to not feeling emotionally safe.

Please use literally any other location if you can. This Uhaul NEVER answers their phone and we had to drive 30 minutes to even speak with them about a Ubox reservation they were withholding from us for no reason. THEN when our move was finally finished they FORGOT to close out our reservation, and we are now STILL being charged storage fees for two Uboxes we have nothing to do with. Their mistake literally opened ANOTHER reservation for us and we're being charged for storage of Uboxes in a completely different state. We submitted a claim a week ago and are unable to get this figured out or get a refund.

Arrived and waited in line for 30 minutes to be told when it was my turn that the person working the counter could not help me with rental and had to wait another 30 minutes.

If I could give 0/5 I would, horrible service from the managers. Was told I'd have a one way truck available, was informed I would receive a in town only vehicle two days before I move. Tanner and the other managers present seemed to be annoying that I was even expressing my frustration. Even to the point of one of them raising their voice over the phone. Do not waste your time with this location or uhaul in general. Horrible operation with very little to no competence. Makes me sick people are getting paid to do literally nothing.

BEWARE!!!!! Horrible experience from start to finish. I scheduled a hitch installation on their website and paid it in full. I picked from the locations they provided and specially picked one across town because it was the only one with the option to not drop it off for the installation. I did not want to be without my vehicle all day, so this worked great for me. 2 weeks later, I show up for my installation. I am the first appointment when they open and arrive early enough to witness several employees onsite. When they open I walk in and say I am there for my 7 am hitch installation appointment. The man with a large green beanie on says, "we don't do hitch installations." and then stares at me like there are people behind you. I say how can this be, I scheduled, paid for, and picked this location from your website. He shrugs and again looks at me like there are people behind you. I am not only upset but I can't believe this employee is doing NOTHING to help me. I ask for a supervisor because I paid for this service and need help. He says, "I am the only one here." Again, I am appalled that this person is not calling anyone else or even trying to help me. Something told me not to leave, so I go to my car and make a phone call customer service while I search for my confirmation email. When I get customer service on the phone I learn that this location does indeed do hitch installations, that if they no longer do hitch installations I should have been contacted the day I scheduled it, that this location does not have a GM associated with it, and that in order for me to get a refund/reschedule this location must cancel my reservation first. I went back inside and of course I am not happy at this point. Now there are 2 employees behind the desk, more lies from the employee stating he was the only one there - again I had already seen at least 4 employees in the 20 minutes I had been there. I approached the desk again and said that they must cancel the appointment in order for me to reschedule or get a refund. The first guy, who offered me NO help and was rude, completely ignored me. The second employee looked it up and said let me finish with this customer then I can help you. He then walked out with a customer. The other employee followed suite with his own customer. I stood there watching 3 employees outside helping 1 customer for well over 10 minutes. The customer service person says, I am sorry but I can't remain on the phone forever. I said, I am not letting you go until I get this handled. I explained what I was seeing with the 3 employees outside chatting with 1 customer and said would you like me to go out there and ask them to help me? Finally, after confronting the 3 employees and saying is it possible for one of you to help me so I can get on with my day? He continued to have a horrible attitude, laughing, sighing and arguing with me when I said can you not even understand why I would be upset? He then says, all the other customers had no issue with the fact that all our employees quite, but you. Now, I raised my voice because I was livid. I said, you did not tell me that everyone quite. You told me that you were the only one here - BIG DIFFERENCE. When I asked him his name he refused to give it to me saying all I want to do is get him fired. I said, there is no way for you to know my intentions. For your information, my intention is to get the the training you clearly need. Keep in mind, the customer service lady is on the phone with me so all of this is being recorded. I then give a description of the employee. After waiting 45 minutes, I was finally given a receipt/refund cancelling my appointment by the employee who had told me at the top of all of this that he was new and couldn't help me. I was a paying customer and he treated me like I was a leper. It was a HORRIBLE experience. Clearly, this location has multiple issues that MUST be addressed by someone immediately. Excellent customer service, Kendall Anastia, and the team listened carefully while I attempted to plan a long distance move. They made great suggestions and helped pull together my plan. The 26' truck only had 28k miles, and had Bluetooth and 4 cup holders! Important stuff for long distance moves. All in, we saved about 5k moving ourself, including the cost to hire some amazing loading and packing assistance from the folks at MUV (highly recommended as well).

I recently reserved a uhaul for a move from Colorado to Nebraska. Problem #1 was that I wasn't even trying to rent from this location. Unfortunately, what I've learned is that when you go on the Uhaul site to make your reservation, the site will let you reserve anything you want from whatever location you choose, without making any effort to verify that the equipment you reserved will actually be available at the location you want to rent from. Only after you made and confirmed your reservation does uhaul's "scheduling department" manually check if the equipment you requested is available and they apparently have the power to change your reservation without even telling you! And so I ended up renting from this location even though it was not particularly convenient for me and was not the one I wanted to rent from. Problem #2 is that if you encounter any problems (before or during your move) with your reservation, contacting uhaul for assistance is a major undertaking. When you call their 800 number you get to navigate the usual menus to select who you want to talk to based on why you are calling. But no matter what you select it seems you always just get connected to a generic operator who inevitably tells you that you are calling the "wrong department" and that you need to call someone else. Often the "right department" is only a 9am to 5pm operation, so hope you don't need help outside those hours! As far as this location goes, the guy who assisted me in signing for my equipment was nice and helpful enough. But then problem #3 was that even though the "scheduling department" moved my reservation here because it was the only location within hundreds of miles that SUPPOSEDLY had the equipment I wanted, it turned out they were out of dollys and couldn't give me the one I reserved. Getting that fixed was another one of those long phone calls to the "right department." The move itself went okay. The truck was nice and in good condition. I paid for all the special insurance coverage, which was good because I ended up using roadside assistance twice and it was free with my coverage. Overall the experience could have been worse, but it could have also been a lot better if uhaul just had better communication with their customers.

I just needed to get things from my Ubox. I had my appointment at 9am. Wait half an hour just to be told their forklift had a part missing. Now it's 11 am and no updates on when I can access the box. Bright side, people at the front desks are nice. They are not punctual nor good with giving updates.

I walk in and ask for help with Uboxes and the girl ignores me and continues to text on her phone. I even had to say "hello?" And we're still no help

I was in a pinch with a strict date to leave Colorado for my new job in Massachusetts. Of course my electrical connection to my trailer from my truck was faulty. After a quick phone call to several trailer repair companies in the area it looked like they were booked out for at least 2 months as this is the busiest season for that sort of thing. Kyle from the Santa Fe U-Haul location got me in simply as a walk in and was not only happy to help diagnose my problem, he got me fixed and turned around within 45 minutes, truly an asset. I could not be happier with my experience and can't say enough good things about this guy and the location. Thank you kyle.

UNDER COMPLETELY NEW MANAGEMENT Disregard all reviews before May of 2021! The new management and staff are absolutely phenomenal! Philip, the new manager has put together a team of helpful, hard-working, happy employees who very clearly enjoy what they are doing. This location is now by far the best one in the Denver area. They get things done right, and they get things done fast. This is a business that I am happy to support, and they truly make my moving and storage projects so much easier and less stressful. Even if this isn't the closest location to you, this team will save you time and help to make your move seamless and stress-free!

Rarely need to use U-Haul services but this time was one that needed to be acknowledged for professional and admirable service during a difficult time. When I arrived before the service provider early this morning to learn that they had been in an accident on his way in, my heart was immediately broken and planned to leave and reschedule. Within an hour they had an installer there to cover his co worker and friend. This speaks loudly to your team sticking together and doing everything they can to make the wheels turn during a tragic jolt in the day. It means a lot to a customer for a team to step up like that and my heart breaks with you for your friend. My heart and thoughts go out to recovery to your friend and all of you at this difficult time. Thank you Dan for covering , I would have never expected to have been serviced under those circumstances. Highly recommend, there's a ton of cool stuff and everything you need for moves, racks, towing, you name it!
