My nephews loves planes and absolutely loved it here!We came on a Sunday afternoon and we were able to actually get in for free for a day they were celebrating. It was pretty empty the whole time we were there. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and honestly everybody was very nice and helpful. There was older gentleman who helped my nephew with one of the flight simulators and he had so much fun! There were a lot of simulators and we didn't really have to wait for any. Derek was very helpful with simulators as well and great.

This wing of “Wings Over the Rockies “ is actually more for aviation exploration purpose. If you are aviation enthusiast or love to fly this may be the place for you. There are flight simulators, video games to keep the kids busy. Not too many aircrafts on display. If you want see some old and beautiful 2nd WW aircrafts go to their denver museum. Parking, accessibility and restrooms are available to support your urges and needs.

I love both locations of Wings..Lowry and Centennial Airport.Allow a lot more time at the Lowry location, but the Centennial location was good also.Especially on their special eventsCentennial location is closed every now and then during the week, so check the website before making the drive. The simulators are fun..And if you become a member, you get to go to both!

This is a fantastic gem, and I'm hesitant to review it as I don't want to spoil it! I popped in here on a lark with my two young ones with the goal of burning 30-60 minutes before they crashed down for a nap, we ended up staying 2.5 hours and the kids weren't ready to leave yet. This isn't a big museum, but it doesn't need to be, the volunteers and staff made me and my kids feel very welcome, and encouraged them to play and explore the coloring, crafts, and everything they had to offer. They have many great programs they do as well, when we were there, some local youths were practicing with their drones in the drone cage, which was great to watch as well.

Great place for flight enthusiasts. My son takes lessons on the Redbird simulator. Prices are great for rent. Monthly breakfast flyins are amazing experience for kids and adults to experience all kinds of aircraft.

I enjoyed this a lot. There aren't as many planes at this location, but there also weren't as many people and the volunteers to help you with he simulators and other equipment are really great. Figure about 2-3 hrs or so of interesting things to do and try out. Smaller kids will like it but won't last that long.

Best experience at a museum. We brought our 3 year old and he had the absolute best time. The volunteers are so kind, make you feel so welcome and really help educate you about aviation. The simulators are great, for a smaller museum they have so much to see and explore. We can’t wait to keep visiting, it was the best experience we’ve had at any museum. The volunteers really made our experience special, we can’t say enough about them! 10/10 recommend!

We had our wedding here. It was beautiful! I can't think of enough good things to say about this venue! Allison and Dawn made the process as easy as possible. I would highly recommend for any event

Went to an aviation careers event yesterday, got to go up close to an F/A-18C Legacy Hornet from VFA-204 and an F-16C from the Colorado Air National Guard. The ground crew for the F-16C were polite when I asked to go up next to it, even though the event had ended minutes before. They even fired up the engine and let me watch them run a diagnostic. Staff for WOTR was also polite.

Great place to learn more about aviation, see various planes, practice on simulators, and even attend special events with fly -ins, schedule a special flight ✈️ and/or enjoy food from food trucks! An EOF volunteer showed me all around and it was very educational and fun- family fun for all ages!

First, I will say all of the staff and volunteers here were very kind and obviously love flying! We were really hoping to love this place, but it just didn't work out that way. While we wouldn't have been too surprised not to have many activities geared toward our preschooler, we were disappointed that our 10-year-old couldn't do any of the simulators either. It wasn't super clear to me from the website, but this is really better suited for older kids and adults. As I said, the staff was very accommodating and issued us a refund after we discovered that we couldn't enjoy most of the exhibits. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a TEENAGE aspiring pilot!
