Bought a truckload of lumber from these guys. Not only was it better quality than the big box stores but it was competitively priced and they carry a better selection. I don't buy lumber anywhere else.

Joe Cygan was unprofessional and had lousy customer service. In my over 40 years of home building construction I've never run into a more inept rude material salesman. What's worse is they won't take responsibility for thier own mistakes. Tried to throw me under the bus with my customer. They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first sourceBMCUFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed.Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.

The door jamb to my fir door was mortised absolutely terrible. It looked like a child used a dull screw driver on the latch plate mortise. The specs for the door from Simpson/county line lumber are so far off on the latch side the reveal is horrible. Either that or when county line built the jamb they chose to leave a massive reveal on the latch side. The latches from the slab didn’t line up with the door jamb latch plate mortise. I had a professional installer say they’ve never seen a reveal this bad. County line and their door hanging counter part said this reveal was totally fine and normal. My installer did everything possible for hours to compensate and make this door better, including having to chisel out more latch plate mortise.Their only solution was a new latch plate side of the jamb. This was after it was fully installed with brick molding and sealant to make everything water tight. This had to be done because my installer only had one day open. And at the point of demo when i had a giant hole in my house, it had to be finished. I couldn’t wait 5 more months for another door or jamb with a hole in my house. They only offered $100 in compensation to do this. Seriously? Something that cost $600-$700 to install and an entire 10 hour day would need to be torn out, purchase new brick mold, recut the brick mold, fit and seal the new jamb, for that same price again. I can tell not a single person at county line lumber, and who ever builds their jambs, did not inspect a thing before sending this door out to the customer. And as for their compensation, it’s literally insulting to me and the professional installer. They should be covering the entire reinstall amount. Poor craftsmanship, poor customer service and flat out not really caring about what happened.Do not buy doors from county line lumber.

Great local store. Needed a screwdriver thin enough to unlock a bathroom door - their smallest one was a bit too wide so they sanded it down with a belt sander. Worked perfectly. Excellent service, will be back.

More than just lumber! We love that they offer a great variety of things so we don't need to drive all the way to Home Depot. They are super helpful with questions and ideas. Stop by and check it out! You will be surprised how well stocked it is and its right around the corner.

Nice selection and competitive prices. Hours can be a bit of a bummer when you're knocking out a weekend project and realize you forgot something. But still a great shop to have nearby.

Knowledgeable staff. As usual, I didn't quite know what I needed. They were patient with me while I explained and showed me different products so I could be sure I had the right thing.

Great local spot. Great staff and I love the fact that you can buy a small of the things you need such as screws and nails.
