The Erie Community Center is a great community recreation facility that opened in 2008. It offers many amenities including a full-court gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, an indoor pool with a lazy river and hot tub, racquetball courts, fitness classes, and several meeting rooms. Reviews highlight the friendly and nice staff who create a nice environment. Parents especially love Kid’s Station, where children are deeply cared for and engaged with crafts. The facility is clean, though some note the locker rooms are less impressive than other centers. With rapid growth in Erie, a concern is whether the center will be big enough to accommodate all future residents.
I’ve been going to the gym there for over a year now, but they changed the weight room, which is really annoying. Other than that it’s nice.

I am so grateful for the ECC! My only criticism, after going to the Bob Burger center in Lafayette while ECC was undergoing its annual maintenance week, is that the ECC locker room/showers/jacuzzi don't hold a candle to Lafayette.
