Cannot recommend Foxtail Pines highly enough for your beloved furry family members. Short version: they are intelligent & capable vets, truly care about you & your pets, view you as humans & are conscious of costs, and go out of their way to make sure you are informed and comfortable with your pet's care.Dr. Shea recognized something was off with our seemingly healthy 9 y/o dog during a well visit & recommended xray. Thanks to quick action, we were able to do testing necessary to identify our dog has a rare & potentially life-threatening condition called PLE.Dr. Ritchie was very kind and helpful to us when she oversaw some of the testing.Dr. Wydallis received the bloodwork that confirmed our dog's diagnosis & made quick action critical. She called us multiple times on a Saturday when we were hiking without service to make sure we got the information ASAP. She gave us great information & referred us to a specialist at CASE given our dog's condition. She also went out of her way to speak with them & identify an opening for our dog's appointment. We have been back & forth between Foxtail Pines & CASE since, & Dr. Wydallis and Foxtail Pines have been an incredible resource to us and have made the difficult time with our pet much easier on us.Costs are always communicated to us in advance, we are given information & options for treatment vs. feeling uncomfortably pushed in a direction, and they are just a pleasure to work with. It is truly rare to find this quality of care and people in a business these days.So grateful to have found this office and can't recommend it enough to you & your fur babies!

Back to 1 star. Vet didn't return my phone call to fill a prescription. Their emergency line hangs up. Fail

I cannot say enough about Foxtail Pines. I’ve brought all my animals here and they have never once let me down. They work with, give you multiple options and ways to get a diagnosis, and provide those resources. My cat recently got ill quite quickly and they got her right in, ran bloodwork and a UA, and from those results they gave me information. The next day they provided the specialist to see my cat which gave us a diagnosis and we could treat her. She’s so much better and I have the AMAZING team at Fotail. Dr Ritchie and Dr Jess will forever be in my heart. I am so thankful!

We loved our experience here! Our Chihuahua mix needed teeth extracted and we expected to spend thousands but the price was so fair and way less than anticipated for the services she needed. The care was wonderful and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. Despite having many extractions she was energetic and feeling great the very next day. She's healed extremely well and it's so good to see her healthy and happy.

Dr. Katie Ritchie and her staff were excellent. We brought our cat in and had a really thorough exam performed with great advice and thoughtful answers to our questions. Thank you for your kind and professional care!

This practice now is all about money with super rude doctor/staff.I chose anonymous review because the lost trust cannot be restored due to continuous violation, and I do not want to be harassed/retaliated.Procedures are more expensive than other vets (sometimes double, such as fecal sample examination as a routine care, very greedy price here), and they wouldn’t do refill of prescriptions even if you just saw them and paid a handsome fee for pet visit along with much higher price tagged prevention medications (they want you to pay a separate visit fee before they will do refill for the same prevention medications). They also had a misdiagnosis with my dog which caused my whole family freaked out and got all my other dogs dewormed, even human checked for infection, turned out to be misdiagnosis on their end after spending hundreds of dollars and two weeks of unnecessary stress.Even after this, we gave them benefit of doubt and trust, yet only to find out when you request to speak with the doctor who denied your prescription, they ignore you. They also cannot do math right for weight/doses of medications. Incompetence in many levels.Do not recommend.

Foxtail Pines in no longer the veterinary practice it used to be, unfortunately. All of the senior knowledgable vets have retired and passed the business over to the younger less experienced.I recently took my dog in for an emergency as he was not feeling well not keeping food down as I could not get into my reg. vet.The vet I saw was one of the newer very young vets who took my dog into the back room. She and others examined him and did some Xrays as they found a large tumor. They also did a little ultrasound and found another dark spot in other areas (cancer?). This vet came back in with my dog and showed my the Xrays and kept saying "it just sucks" "that is all I can say, it just sucks" not giving me any options what to do.I took him home thinking this was end of life (scheduled in home) until I snapped out of it, spoke with may regular, much more mature and experienced vet who said it most likely would be benign but we won't know until we did surgery. She recommended I take him to Dr. Jeff's practice Planned Pethood now in Conifer. They gratefully did the surgery immediately, removing his spleen and tumor along with a nodul on his liver (the dark spot). Tests all came back BENIGN. I'm over the moon with joy with total relief knowing he will be with me for years to come.I was able to address this issue ON MY OWN without any help or support from any of the vets at Foxtail and they even refused to follow up when I provided them feedback and results of the surgery. Shame on them.Beware, All these vets are now are young inexperienced and looking to get clients in and out FAST and charge a lot of money. I will NEVER return.

I had a wonderful experience here with my kitty Mieko. He had developed a random growth on his toe that needed to be removed. I worked with Dr. labak initially for my consultation and Dr. Wydallis for his surgery. Both went above and beyond for my cats care. They provided me with the knowledge regarding the risks and benefits of my situation. They described the best course of action for my cat and gave wonderful pre care and post surgical at- home instructions. My cat has had a few surgical issues in his life before and I am now more nervous with his age being older. They gave me the comfort and attention that I needed. From the front desk, to the Vet technicians, to the veterinary doctors, I was astounded at the level of attention to detail and the care they provided me and my kitty. Thank you Foxtail Pines! I would highly recommend them.

My roommate takes her beloved kitty here (pictured). I tagged along for one of the appointments and their staff is very caring and accommodating. I’ll most likely be bringing my 2 furbabies here when they’re due for check-ups.

My family has been bringing our pets here for years. I got a cat about two years ago who was seeing another vet and I just switched her over to Foxtail Pines and I'm so happy I did! Her last vet was wrong about a few things and was ready to charge me upwards of $1,000 and out her under for a surgery she didn't need at all! Will be sticking with Foxtail Pines. They really care about pets and don't try to charge you for things you don't need!
