Possibly my worst automotive shop experience ever, and I have owned well over 30 cars, so that's saying something. I initially paid GBOX $10,400 to rebuild a 996 Turbo transmission, with a warranty. The transmission was shipped to them ( I covered $850 in freight). Upon completion, it was installed in the car and became locked up within 100 miles. I had to pay the labor to have the transmission removed from the car again ($4,100) and covered shipping costs to send it back again. They repaired it under warranty and sent it back. Upon reinstallation and driving roughly 1,000 miles it began popping out of gear while driving, this is both aggravating and dangerous to myself and those driving around me. When the fluid was checked it was black, and there was metal material on the drain plug...with only 1,000 miles on that new OEM Porsche fluid. They have ignored my calls and texts for over a year, and are not honoring their warranty or offering any form of refund. With the initial rebuild, all of the shipping back and forth, and paying labor to have it removed and installed over and over I am in this over $16,000 and have a transmission that does not work properly.

Stanley was super helpful and builds a great product! I highly recommend GBox Inc for your transmission needs. He even took time to go over tire size recommendations as mine are to wide to create proper 200deg temperature at the tires (which is required for good traction). Could not be happier with these guys!

purchased a rebuilt transmission for a Porsche Boxster in the past-My client raced it for four years before selling the car. It performed as a trainer car before he committed to a 997. Never did it not deliver as promised! Very pleased and would recommend them for their products.

my brother Javier, brought a transmission form Mr. Stanley, he sad the was good shape, never mansion the have Weldon in top off,when we trait to talk to him ,we will juts hang the phone,off course after 15,000 dollars transmission ,I will not recommend to business with Mr. stanley.

The owner was not honest with me, lied about work started, lied about parts ordered. Picked up my untouched trans after waiting months. Scary stuff.

Unprofessional, unrealistic, unfair. Stan has zero customer service skills. I'm amazed he's still in business. Didn't do what he said, overcharged, then offered no recourse for his own mistakes. Oh, and he took months to do the work even though I asked for an estimate before any work started. I know many people who have had the same experience. Run far away from this business. Use anyone else.
