I read reviews like this one before getting hired and was extremely hesitant because of the amount of critisism towards management. After being hired I can say it is a very hostile environment to work in, and there is no real leadership from anyone.

We registered our son 2.5 about a year ago, we pay the deposit and did everything they asked.A year later and still didn’t hear from them.

The positives: The teachers are wonderful. Sammi, Alejandra, Marianna, Lali, Amy, Amber, Stephanie, etc were all great. My kids loved them and I'm going to miss them dearly.The negatives:Food - Some common snacks/meals: Frito pie (cheez-whiz and fritos), cookies, rice krispie treats, pudding, pop tarts, nachos, cheez-its. I don't have super high expectations for food. I'm not expecting fresh, organic, free range type of stuff, but most of the food they give them has zero nutritional value. Our new daycare (Everbrook) always includes fruits, veggies, and protein every single day.Price: I was paying $1734 per month for my 1yo to go there, PART-TIME. There is a discount if you have two kids going there. When I had my 3yo and 1yo there, I was paying $39,254 per year. At our new daycare, we're saving $2,646 per year, and the new daycare includes diapers and wipes as part of the tuition so you can imagine how much more we're saving because of that. At Kiddie Academy, you're paying a premium price for a generic daycare.

The teachers and director are excellent. They geniunely care about the children and have helped my child grow and develop at a healthy pace.

Our daughter attended Kiddie Academy of Erie from the age of 1.5 until she was just over 2.5--in total 1+ year. Despite having a large number of classrooms/age groups and many children to deal with, we always felt that the administration knew our daughter and our family situation personally. They were very flexible with us as we adjusted her schedule/added more days as she became more comfortable with the school. The administration handled the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in a very professional manner. Particular mention goes out to Misty from the KA staff for always being there for us to discuss our daughter's progress, as well as Ms. Amy who made a special connection with our daughter when she first began her time at the school. We will miss our time as part of the Kiddie Academy family.

My wife and I love having our boys at KA! The camera access in reach room was so comforting when they each started. It's so convenient and saves us so much time that we can trust they'll eat good, real food and the monthly date nights are amazing! Our non-KA parent friends are jealous every time we bring it up! ?

Kiddie academy is the BEST place to trust in child care. I am not the easiest mom to deal with and they are amazing when responding to any inquiry I have. I would recommend them over and over again. Misty and her team are AMAZING.

This Kiddie Academy is fantastic! We’ve had our son enrolled since he was an infant and they have always given us extra attention, made sure that he was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I love the fact that they have great educational systems to get all of the kids involved. They also have lots of arts and activities and book reading. All the teachers really care about Jules. On top of this, they’ve worked with our schedule to assure that we have the best situation for our son. Thank you Misty, Stefanie, and the whole team for always being awesome! ?Sincerely,Zach

We love Kiddie Academy of Erie! The staff is great - knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. We also love the curriculum. My daughter is in the three-year-old room, and they are learning so much! We hear the songs about letters and weather and months and all of the other great things they learn from her after we pick her up, and we get to see pictures and videos from the day through the app as well. Much lower staff turnover than our previous child care center so our daughter, and we as parents, can build a better relationship with the staff. They are also extremely conscientious about cleaning, and we have noticed a difference. Our daughter, and we as parents, is sick less often than with her previous center. They are locally owned, and the owner is frequently on-site and doing whatever needs done, down to mopping the floors. I can't say enough good things. We are so pleased with Kiddie Academy and can't imagine having our daughter anywhere else.

They are very personal! We walk through the door and they know who we are, they all know how my daughter did that day, they even know what she ate for lunch. They are a wonderful staff, nice clean facility, and wonderful education curriculum, even for the small infants. My daughter learns new things every day she attends.

I caution any parent considering this school. My child was in imminent danger, got seriously hurt, and I was not called or given an incident report until 9 days after the incident once I demanded it. The school did not have or follow through on any type of safety plan. The supervision at the end and beginning of the day is not consistent. We had no choice other than to remove our child from the school at our financial and emotional expense. My child got hurt with no remorse, plan for correction or right action followed through on by the administration.

The director and staff are very kind, involved and very attentive to my grandson and our family. The school is always very clean and comfortable to be in.
