I recently had the pleasure of utilizing SecurCare Self Storage in Erie, CO. I must say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere, and much of that positive experience can be attributed to the exceptional service provided by the Property Manager Ken.Ken's professionalism and dedication to customer service truly set the tone for my entire experience. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my storage needs were not only met but exceeded. He took the time to carefully explain everything, addressing all my questions and concerns with patience and expertise.

Great customer service, climate controlled/AC, always clean, easy to access, and the price was way cheaper than anything in nearby Boulder! 100% using this place again when I need a place for storage :3

Beware anyone renting spaces at the Erie location on Carbon court. While the website, order confirmations and everything else explicitly states that you can immediately access your unit after purchasing, by using the provided door code and your own lock, that's is entirely false. While this may be the case for every other location, for whatever reason this location requires you to purchase a key from the office to use their locks which are already in the doors to each unit. What's even more infuriating, this location is managed by a property manager that is split between this location and another. Meaning that their posted office hours are incorrect. Why in the world would you have the one location where I need to go into the office before using the unit, only have the office open for half of the posted office hours. I arrived with a truck full of things to store, and my own lock ready to move everything in, only to find out that I couldn't get into my unit and the office was closed until 2pm... The exact time I needed to have my rental truck returned so another customer could use it. When I called the number on the office door listed for "immediate" assistance I was told I could be put on a call list and someone would be in touch within 72 hours... I have never been this frustrated with a company in my life. This singlehandedly derailed my entire move resulting in me spending hundreds more than I expected or could afford, to get a different storage unit and to extend the truck rental. This all could have been solved if this company provided accurate information on their website and correspondence regarding this location.

very clean inside, and has multiple means of security, making me feel like my goods are very safe. Good price, and the gentleman at the front is incredibly kind helpful and funny!

Steven went above and beyond while getting us checked into our new storage unit. He was so friendly and informative, and gave us a great first impression of the property. The building itself is very clean and user friendly. So glad we picked this storage facility. More than a year later, we are still impressed with this facility and the service we've received. Highly recommend!!

If I could give negative stars for a review, this would be the first time I'd do it.My mother in law has been having health issues and we had to sell her home and move her by us. I went on the website to get an appointment in the office. The website had me fill out a rental app and give a card number. I thought this was normal, to save time when we went into the office. I received an email shortly after confirming our "appointment time" at Secure Storage in Erie. We ended up needing her items to be closer to Frederick, so we chose to go with Guardian Storage (who is incredible with top notch customer service btw). I did not think anything about it and we went on with our lives. I never received a move in type email, never received a unit number, never got a call from the facility. However, about a month later my MIL was charged $108 for a storage unit from SecurStorage...We were so confused.I called the facility and spoke with a gentleman (I believe his name was David, but might have that wrong). He was extremely aggressive and incredibly rude. While I was trying to explain the situation he started raising his voice that I was "talking over him"...I tried to explain that I was not trying to and I was just trying to finish explaining and then he hung up the phone on me. It was the most aggressive customer service person I have ever spoken to in my life. I was stunned, completely stunned. He sounded like if I was in his office he would have thrown something at me, it was SO STRANGE.I called back and kindly said I was not trying to talk over him, he started getting loud again and I requested to talk to a supervisor to which he replied "Guess what, thats me". Feeling completely helpless I continued on the phone with him - if he is the supervisor then I guess I just have to deal with the aggression and hatefulness to get this worked out. I was so polite and just trying to request to have the funds sent back. He said he would not do that, they cant call "all their customers when they don't move in" because they have SO MANY. I signed the lease online and in his words there were MANY steps I had to take to sign the lease so it was not a mistake. Apparently I am an idiot? because it definitely was a mistake. Who "rents" a unit and then never moves in, calls or anything? Even if we decided to move in we had no information on how that worked? It was so bizarre.He put me on hold for 15 minutes while he stated he was going to "move her out of the system" after 15 minutes I had to go to work and had to hangup the phone. He never called back, never contacted us, nothing.A few days later I called back and got the call center. He did not move her out of the system and he did not relay my issues in the notes.The wonderful call center girl was appalled at the customer service I described. She was shocked frankly, and said he most definitely did have a boss (owner or supervisor) who I could have spoken with. I have now put in a call for the Erie location owner to call me so I can relay these concerns. She also officially moved my MIL out of the system thank goodness since we were being lied to.If I had to pick a storage location, I would most definitely never use this location. Beware.

This facility is first rate! And the pricing is so reasonable. The gentleman that helped me rent my unit was the best! Very friendly and knowledgeable. It was very apparent that customer service is the name of his game and he was exceptional at providing great customer service. Thank you!!

Steve, the property manager, is extremely helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and well lit and the prices are competitive.

A few unclear details regarding my initial visit to my unit. Some locations require a specific (yet unspecified in the email) lock, so the one I brought didn’t work. The guy at the front desk was so helpful in helping me get into the building and helping me get my lock sorted. He turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a great and easy one!

Working with Steve was a joy! He was patient and thorough with his explanation. My husband and I were affected by the Marshall fire and he worked with us to ensure we could find a storage unit to fit our needs. The facility always felt clean and secure. 10/10!

I got so lucky with the kindness of Steve! I wasn’t aware I had to be there before 6 to get my storage unit and arrived at 6:30 with a fully packed uhaul. While I was trying to contact the number from my confirmation email, Steve pulled up (he had to stay late and was just about to drive away) and helped me out. I never expect things like this, but I am very grateful that he helped me out. Amazing employee who went above and beyond. Thank you ??

Had trouble with signing the electronic contract, so I exited out and started over. This ended up double billing my account (charged 2 lockers). Called on Monday to straighten out, left a VM. No one returned my call. Called back late in the afternoon and sat on hold for 5:00 min. Finally got a customer service agent. Went through a lengthy explanation. He said he was going to give me a ticket number to resolve my issue. He put me on hold and then the line was disconnected. Called back again and the exact same thing happened again! Super frustrating. Nobody tried to call me back.

Amazing customer service. Steven is super friendly and really helped me get the right storage unit. He made moving from another unit seamless and so easy for me. So appreciate the ease and helpfulness of moving! This storage unit in Erie feels so safe and well -secured! This will be a lifetime investment for our family!

Showed up and apparently someone took our storage unit and Steve was there and hooked us up with a different unit and a lock and was super chill and nice about everything. 10/10 experiment
