John and Diann run a quality program; we have a Vizsla puppy and they provided us the tools and instruction we needed to properly train our dog for engagement, recall and overall well being and behavior. They are flexible to your schedule and align on goals and the program for your pup!

John and Diann at Two Bears did an amazing job, helping us with our French Bulldog pup! On our walks, he now stops at every crosswalk, sits and makes eye contact before we tell him it’s okay to go. He sits quietly with us out in public, comes when called, goes to his designated place when the doorbell rings, and is still learning some great new behaviors. With their help, we even successfully taught him how to love his little airline crate carrier, and took him on the plane to visit our daughter away at college. He feels confident and so do we ☺️. Highly recommended!

Please do yourself a favor and train your pups properly with Two Bears. I have two older dogs, 7 and 9, who I inherited from my mom. My two dogs are sweet but easily distracted making walks difficult and unenjoyable. Training with Diann has helped me understand what our dogs see and think about which has been instrumental with how I need to approach engaging with my dogs. Diann showed me that even at their older ages, my dogs are still able to learn.I'm really excited and enlivened to work with my dogs and thus I was inspired to write this review. It's truly worth it, give them a call!

If you want to learn how to train your dog you can't find better teachers than John and Diane. They are truly dog whisperers. They have a very gentle style. They can train any dog but they are particularly adept with puppies. We went to classes with them for a few months and had great results. I highly recommend Two Bears Dog Training!

They are great. We have a vizsla puppy, Sunny. I was very misguided about training in general. John walked me and my family (3 BOYS) all the way back and taught us how to communicate with our dog. He has a few easy steps to first let the dog understand how to be taught. Second, he teaches how to teach her things. Our goal is to have a well mannered dog that can follow direction. We are well on our way... her training will go our whole life together. There is nothing worse than an untrained dog and NOTHING greater than a well trained dog. We still have a long ways to go but feel like we have a great foundation to build from. Something I didn't realize is that there are a few markers that help your dog be well adjusted and you want to ideally get your dog trained early in its life. I know this isn't always possible but if you can do it early you will make your path much easier. Hope this helps anyone on the fence! Cant say enough positive things about Two Bears.

We first learned about Two Bears several years ago when the Humane Society training for our ‘confident and independent’ Golden wasn’t working. The instructor actually told us to go elsewhere. Thank goodness we found Diann and John! In a relatively short time we went from a counter-jumping, leash pulling guy who could never be off leash or alone outside his crate to an incredibly well-mannered guy who was a model citizen and enjoyed off leash freedom on the trails. Hikers commented all the time, even asking if we’d train their dogs! Now we have Golden pup number two, and our first call was to Two Bears to start working together again :-) Their program isn’t about tricks; it’s a solid philosophy and logical progression of skill building for your dog and you.

Two Bears dog training (Diann and John) are exactly the kind of of training we were looking for. Our puppy is doing amazingly well. Now we understand much better how to train and treat our puppy. We like it so much we are now planning to take our older dog to train too. We highly recommend it.

Diann and John are really professional and knowledgeable. We are seeing great results with my puppy. This training is exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend two bears dog training. We also are using the “let me be vest”. We are noticing very positive results as others interact with our dog. Thank you!!

I buy my raw dog food from them. Always respond right away and they make picking up food effortless. My dog is so healthy and loves the meat. The price is good for what you're getting.

I have trained two dogs ( a Vizsla and a terrier mutt) with John at Two Bears over the last 8 years and immediately called them once my new pup arrived. Unlike the typical training class, John’s focus is on building a partnership between you and your dog, so your dog emerges feeling more secure, stable and engaged than when you start. You can actually watch your dog thinking and learning with each tiny action. If you’re serious about wanting a well trained dog who can do anything you ask, give them Two Bears a call.

John and Diann have been a tremendous source of knowledge for me and my German Shepherd Blitz. They work with my sport dog but are also great with pets.

Called to get some information on pricing. Told them I would call them back in a few days after I did more research. When they called me back a few days later I said we were going to wait due to the cost, we just can’t afford it right now (even though the cost is super reasonable!) and were going to try things ourself with our little puppy. Diane responded with “good luck thats just longer to screw him up even more.” Super rude!!

They can train any dog and it's human.
