Just the worst for all the reasons stated in all of the reviews. I have never had to call a post office so many times in all the places I’ve ever lived. I’ve lived in Erie now for six years and I’ve probably called 20 times to find my mail or packages. Our mail is constantly late or missing and in other peoples boxes. I will agree that Sue is helpful, but I shouldn’t have to call regularly to get things sorted out. I think the biggest source of the problem is that all of these developments are now using the group mail boxes and the person who is delivering to these boxes are not conscientious enough to make sure that the mail gets in the correct box. I miss the days of having my own mailbox in front of my house. I get that it’s a savings on staff and gas/trucks, but it’s got to also be draining on the employees well as it is for the residents to constantly be dealing with problems.

Extremely rude and honestly ridiculously dimwitted. Doesn’t solve problems but just blames you for them. Wouldn’t trust these people.

Sue is fantastic! I had a very important package marked delivered but wasn't anywhere to be found. I submitted a claim online and the next morning Sue called me and let me know she was going to go out and check our shared mailbox and parcel lockers. She found it and delivered it to us personally, then called me later just to follow up and give me her direct line in case I ever need anything in the future. Great customer service!

I shipped a package to an overseas address today, and the staff at the post office were very helpful, professional, and efficient.

If you want earlier appointment than crowded city locations, and for quick, efficient passport application processing, go to this post office! This is a quaint little post office having helpful employees with an amazing attitude! I just can't believe some of the low ratings here... obviously some irate customers who don't know what they are doing, or they might reflect experiences with previous employees...I was struggling to get an appointment for my twins for passport renewal (re-application really as minors can't get theirs renewed) in and around Denver. I even tried walking in at a couple of post office locations and had an ugly experience in both, standing in line for a long time, only to be told no more walk-ins would be considered.I then realized that when we search for post offices to get an appointment, the website tracks our location and gives us nearby locations which may have appointments more than 3 weeks out. All we need to do is put in the name of the city around which you want to try - lo and behold, a lot more options open up when you try suburbs.Late last night, I got an appointment for today at the Erie post office which is 29 miles from home, but just a 35 minute drive - way better than standing in line for an hour at the Denver downtown location. The Erie post office is quaint and small, with hardly any place for people to form a line. I reached there with my kiddos 10 minutes before my appointment time. There were 5 people ahead of me of which one was for passport. I got to the front of the line in just 10 minutes. The employees attending to customers were super efficient and pleasant throughout. Alana and Jessica deserve a shout out.Jessica handled our kids' applications and both the applications were done within a matter of 10-15 minutes total. Absolutely pain-free experience!TLDR: Check out this post office if you live around Denver and want a quick appointment and want to be dealt with by very pleasant and efficient employees!

They lost my original adoption paperwork from my passport application and was extremely rude to me when I asked if it may have been left in the store, fell out somewhere on the truck, etc. They didn't even look, and just told me "no, why would we have it?" So, I never got them returned to me. The passport center had the return package certified on a certain date, so the post office WOULD'VE HAD IT. Then, as of LAST WEEK, my mail dashboard says I should've received the tags for my car, but I have yet to receive them. I've let them know it wasn't delivered, but I have yet to hear from them. Now that'll be another headache I have to deal with. I'm just surprised that such a small town is having this much trouble with their job.

I figured the Erie P.O. could use a good review for a change, and I had a very pleasant experience with a young woman-employee today.Maybe they hired some new staff since the bad reviews? If so, major improvement hiring her, I'd say!Note: I went in on a Wednesday morning the week before Christmas (for comparison to other peoples' experiences).

Definitely my least favorite post office anywhere near here. They have lost multiple packages. They put the mail in the wrong mailboxes in our neighborhood every other week. And currently they have lost an insurance check worth many thousand dollars. Go to UPS down the street on Arapahoe instead

Man I hate doing this but left me wanting more…. I mean, I know you’re a post office so the bar is low, but I’ve also been in some pretty impressive post offices… it’s like, don’t just bask in your averageness, but rather try to make people feel halfway content with their trip to your establishment…. Lol
