“My wife and i came in to buy earbuds because we left ours in colorado springs and we were in estes park for a vacation because my son was home from japan. We when went to checkout and the young man helping us was very helpful and answered all our questions. My wife asked if dollar general offered a military discount as i am a disabled veteran also. He stated they did not but they should. We left the store and we were talking in our truck. I looked up and saw the young man and i thought i forgot something. He gave me a pair of headphones he had already paid for himself because they were marked paid for with the date. He then gave me a salute and said this is your military discount and thank you for your service. And quickly ran back inside. I was left speechless. Whoever raised this young man gets 5 stars and the manager should give him a raise for going above and beyond. This is outstanding customer service. I hope whoever reads this please personally give him my families thanks and i hope dollar generals thanks as well! That has never happened to me in 30 years since leaving the military. Thank you.”
