The asian woman at the counter seems to be an underpaid or bitter woman, but definitely very poor customer service. I will not return to that pharmacy again. Go to Rocky Mountain Farmacy, they really had a good service.

The woman at the desk seemed incompetent with her job. She didn’t seem to know how to transfer a prescription to another pharmacy. Also, the pharmacy did not carry the medication my doctor prescribed. The online prescription system had also been hacked nationwide so it was very difficult to have the prescription called in by my doctor. I was upset because I ended up making 5 phone calls back and forth between my doctor and the pharmacy, and they didn’t even the medication after all that. I also went in to the pharmacy twice to talk with the incompetent woman about the situation. She was not rude, but just seem to understand what was going on. I will never go to a Safeway pharmacy again in my life.Also the grocery prices are crazy high, so I think I’ll just go elsewhere down the mountain for groceries all the time. The app always crashes. Safeway is a terrible business I don’t recommend to anyone. I recommend to avoid at all costs.

The Pharmacy is hit or miss. Sometimes everything things go great and other days it is a disaster. My doctor ordered me a medication over a week go and nothing. I also used the app to order a refill. After waiting several more days I called twice to see if there was an issue or out of stock. I was immediately put on hold after being told “if we have time”. The first time I waited and after a 5 min the phone was picked up and then immediately hung up.The second time. I was out on hold again and after several minutes the line was transferred to physical line. Today I stopped in person and asked about my prescription. I was told there wasn’t any issue and the tech didn’t understand why it had not been filled and they could fill it in 20 min. I came back after 20 min and waited thru another line. When it was my turn I asked for the prescription. Still not ready and told another 5 min. I said I would like to wait over by the side and was told that was ok. As I continued to wait. The one pharmacist on duty came up to answer a question for the for the next customer. He then recognized another person who just finished picking up their prescription and started a long personal conversation. After they finished , the pharmacist looked at me waiting and had a puzzled look on his face. I said “I have been waiting for my prescription that was ordered last Tuesday. The tech who helped me quickly told him it was on his screen. He then went and filled my prescription. It was 55 minutes after I had asked the first time and 10 days after it had been ordered.

Hopefully it's just due to being super short staffed, but had a super unpleasant experience. I asked when I could refill my Rx next, and as a response I got a math problem, and a lecture. Yes, Sarah I can do math, but I was asking when I could refill this again. WOW.

We are from out of state, came to visit and forgot a medication. This pharmacy got our prescription transferred and filled in a short time. Great to talk to and friendly at the counter. Thank You!!!

Staff was very kind and discreet, as well as unfailingly polite. Prescriptions are ready same-day, usually within an hour or two. The texting service helps, too!

The Bakery staff at the Safeway Estes Park Colorado location are THE BEST! Hannah in particular was so communicative & helpful in bringing my “not so traditional” birthday cake design to life! My husband & I were celebrating my birthday staying at the nearby Stanley Hotel, the inspiration for Stephen King to write his best-selling book, “The Shining”. I’d spoken to Hannah about a creating a “Shining” inspired cake & provided a few inspiration photos to work with. Hannah was so enthusiastic to make this happen & really went the extra mile! The cake was so beautifully decorated & truly captured the “spirit” (pun intended) of “The Shining” book/movies. Hannah & the bakery staff are so creative & went above & beyond to make this customer’s birthday wish come true! Thanks Hannah & Safeway team for such a wonderful birthday surprise. Excellent customer service , creativity & communication Keep up the great work!

I get my monthly meds and flu shots (and covid booster) here. The techs are always so polite and prices are reasonable for someone without insurance.

I highly recommend both the bakery and floral department at Safeway in Estes Park! We ordered a cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were delicious. The red velvet cake was amazing!
