Safeway in Estes Park, Colorado, offers a convenient and friendly grocery shopping experience near the E Wonderview Ave location. The store features a bakery with customizable cakes and cupcakes, and a deli that provides made-to-order party trays. Customers can use the Order Ahead service to pick up bakery items quickly, and the floral department offers personalized products and services. The butcher block has a good selection of meat and seafood, while the produce section is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. The store also provides grocery delivery and DriveUp & Go™ options for busy shoppers. While the store is generally clean and well-stocked, some shelves, such as bottled water and certain vegetables, may be temporarily empty. Prices tend to be higher compared to other stores in Texas, reflecting its tourist location, with shoppers spending about 20-25% more. Customer service in the store is mostly positive, with friendly staff members, though there have been complaints about sushi offerings—specifically, a lack of vegetable rolls and poor service from the sushi department, which no longer accepts custom orders and can be dismissive. Some shoppers have also experienced rude behavior from management. Overall, Safeway provides good value for price and quantity but may have occasional issues with availability and service quality.
A little cluttered and bathrooms could use some work. Other than that, they had everything we needed and the view walking out is great!

It's crowded, meaning it's hard to squeeze more than one cart in an isle, but it has a good variety.

really disappointed they rarely have vegetable rolls in their sushi section. for someone who can't eat fish, it's really frustrating having to dig through and find ONE vegetable roll. everything else is completely stocked! if they go through them so fast, maybe they should prepare and make more!
