Perfect hotel while visiting the Rocky Mountains! Rooms are cute and come with RMNP guides and a cooler. The lobby has a cafe with amazing coffee and breakfast options. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would 100% stay again.

Stayed 2 nights at The Trailborn Rocky Mountains Hotel in Estes Park and honestly, it's got a lot going for it. The place looks amazing after its makeover—modern and stylish, especially the lobby and restaurant area. My room was on point: clean, comfy king bed, and even though it's right by the highway, getting to all the cool spots in Estes was a breeze. But here’s the thing—because it’s an old 2-story roadside motel turned hotel, the noise from upstairs can be a bit much if you're staying on the first floor. I mentioned it to the folks at the front desk, and they were super nice about it, but there wasn’t much they could do.I’d lean towards a 4.5-star rating for its style, cleanliness, and vibe, but with the noise issue, I give it 3 stars. I liked the place a lot, and next time, I’ll opt for a room on the second floor to skip the noise (although the only bummer is that there are no king-bed rooms on the second floor).

I come up to Estes Park often, and this is a great addition to the town. While I love how quaint some of the other properties are, this is a bit more modern and hip. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was incredibly friendly during my stay. I arrived "late" (which in Estes Park is around 9pm) and had trouble finding a hotel with staff at the front desk, but Trailborn had friendly staff to get me set up with a room in just a few minutes. Very nice bed, linens, and shower. Nice TV. Room was minimalist but incredibly comfortable. The hotel lobby has amazing windows with a nice view and fireplace. Located a few minutes from the grocery store and the downtown. Full bar in the hotel, and restaurant.Rooms: Clean, very nice and modern.

Every single person was extremely hospitable. Location is perfect walking distance to local shops and eateries. We were there during the snowstorm and the shoveled the snow for us, made walk ways. Just overall a great experience.

Trailborn is newly renovated and is a superb roadside style motel. It is a two level building with your room doors opening straight to the parking lot. The rooms are very comfortable and features some little extras like a hot water kettle and a tote style cooler to borrow. You can also enjoy a complementary s'mores kit in the evening that you roast yourself on the pit fireplace out behind the lobby. Breakfast featured premium coffee and some excellent burrito options. The overnight oats were tasty too and excellent fuel for a morning on the hiking trails. Close proximity to the main st shops means you can walk and not deal with the insane traffic going through that part of town. We have visited Estes Park half a dozen times and have stayed at a new place each time. Not anymore. Trailborn is our go to in this price point.Walkability: Short ten minute walk to the Riverside path and downtown shops of Estes ParkFood & drinks: Premium coffee and made to order complementary breakfast foods. Way better than your average free bee Continental breakfast

Loved our stay at this new hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were also very nice and helpful during our stay. Also, the best part is breakfast! Burritos were so tasty and homemade cinnamon rolls were also phenomenal!! Loved the vegetarian options. And coffee options include espresso! We definitely plan to come back next time in Estes :)

I absolutely loved this place and will only stay here when in Estes Park. The front staff is beyond wonderful, the maintenance people (especially Tim) are SO KIND. I accidentally lost my keys in a fenced in area and Tim helped me get them back! I hope everyone stays here. Plus the food is delicious!

100 stars! While I was affected by the delayed opening I wanted to make sure to leave a review highlighting how hard they worked to make up for that! My husband & I spent 2 nights at the trailborn this past week & I truly have nothing but amazing things to say. the room & lobby were comfortable & beautifully decorated. i loved the amenities as well from the small touches like local tea/coffee in the room up to the nightly smores. they were kind enough to place an order with a local breakfast restaurant for us each morning as the kitchen wasnt open yet. the staff absolutely went above & beyond to make this an amazing stay. i have already recommended the trailborn to my friends & i cannot wait to visit again soon!

Came for a long weekend with my husband. Our room was clean with thoughtful and fun touches. Cooler to use for the day, cute lantern, fun Bluetooth radio and a mini fridge. The bed was so comfy. All of the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Especially Allison, Emily and Russ. Lobby is welcoming with a very nice curation of books. The cinnamon rolls on Sunday morning were a nice treat. Location is within walking distance to downtown and the lake. We were so pleased with our stay we already booked a weekend this summer. Highly recommend this hotel. It did not disappoint.Rooms: Clean, spacious.

I have only booked with this place, haven't stayed yet, but was so pleased with the customer service that I just had to review. Howard was genuinely kind and thoughtful in upgrading my husband and I due to some website glitches. I can tell that management is really going above and beyond to create a wonderful experience despite a few hiccups with opening. Looking forward to our stay in a couple of weeks!

I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. By far the greatest hotel for families in the area. We will be back!! From the in room camping tent experience for my kiddos, to the candle making experience, to the DELICIOUS breakfast, it was 10/10!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

First time staying Estes Park. It was a nice winter wonderland with snow on the ground, snow falling in the evenings, and the town lit up for the holidays. Room was crafted thoughtfully for the outdoor traveller. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Ready with recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Looking forward to visiting in the warmer months to really enjoy the National Park as well.Rooms: Fun amenities like a day use cooler and Bluetooth capable radio/speaker in the room, along with quality bath products and comfortable bed to return to after a day outside.Walkability: Hotel location was perfect walking distance (about 1/2 mile) to local coffee shop and breakfast locations, along the edge of the downtown area.
