I called asking about Christmas pet toys and hats since mine had been stolen the night before out of my car. When I arrived they had put together a goodie bag of treats for the dogs for Christmas, on the house. Such great people. Though I don't live in Evergreen I am now a customer. Thank you.

I've been coming here for 5 years, but had a VERY strange experience today. My 10 year old wanted to buy a Christmas present for our pet. When we checked out, he handed the cashier a $20 bill. She handed back some change to him and said "I'm sorry- this is all the change I can give you. I don't have anymore money to give back to you." I said, "well- can you ask the guy next to you if he has change in his till?" She kept repeating "sorry- I don't have anymore money I can give you." I finally asked the guy who was working next to her if he could help her give us the rest of our change back. It was so weird and a little confusing. Why should I have to beg to get change back that we are due!?

I have been a loyal customer of Chow Down since the 90’s and because of Bruce the manager of the Evergreen location I will never go back! After using the dog wash today as I have for years I left in tears. My appointment was scheduled for 3 pm (2time slots 2 dogs) u had washed my 3rd dog the week before (he was the one who check me out the week prior) when I scheduled my appointment the lady told me the bath was open all day. Knowing this I arrived at 2:15 and she let me start my dog wash I finish both dogs by 3:06 checked out and went out to the parking lot to finish brushing my dogs. Bruce proceeded to fallow me out and first accused me of washing all 3 of my dogs because I had them all with me….( I had all 3 the week prior as well and only washed the 1) then he spent 25 min yelling at me because it was going to take him an hour to clean the room accused me of be late for my time slot (when I was almost 45min early) told me I need to schedule for 2 slots even though I had! Also while all this is going on it was 3:33 so I was still not over my 2 time slot’s that I payed for. He made me feel absolutely awful. I told him the week prior I had cleaned the whole room myself which he agreed yes I had that week he changed me for 30 min when I used 20 and I cleaned the room today I didn’t have enough time to clean as thoroughly as I usually do however I’m 7 months pregnant and did the best I could he did not need to fallow me out and spend this time yelling at me when I fallowed the rules. I will take my business elsewhere. ?

I love this place! Anything you can imagine for your pets is here and all of the products are healthy for our pets!Also, the people here are very knowledgeable and kind. They showed genuine interest in our English Mastiff.Everything is clean and well organized.

Most kind and consistent customer service. Anything we need we can find it here. Love the 13th bag of dog food is free program. Best doggie soap, brand 7220 Soap, bone shaped bar, leaves my dog smelling like nothing and so soft.

Well kept and clean. Lots of variety. Two problems. First they don’t know when to say “I don’t know.” For instance they incorrectly guided someone that frozen bones are safe. Any bone, eg femur beef, that is stronger than dogs teeth can cost 1000s in dental breaks. Ribs, or goat and lamb bones are much safer.Second , their items are overpriced. Overhead may be high but some of their markups are just ridiculous.
